Chapter eight. Annoying Phone Calls

Well, Jessicah is now hanging out with chaz and I everyday. We had explained everything to Chaz and Chaz told Jessicah about how I went crazy over her... well you know what I mean. Jessicah found it cute and laughed but Chaz was actually being serious for once.

Anyway, it was almost the end of semester one so it was the middle of winter. Everyone at school were dressed in jumpers and long pants, some even had scarfs. It rains all the time and it's funny watching people slip over.

"JUSTIN! You missed it! Jamie from english just fell on her ass in that puddle by the dram room!", Chaz yelled so everyone could hear.

I started laughing. "Shutup! everyone can hear you!" I complained.

Chaz laughed. "That was the whole point. Duh.", he said and crossed his arms over his chest.

"You're such a girl.", i told him and sighed.

He didn't even care that I had just insulted him, he never does because I do it too often. He just ignores my comment and keeps talking.

"Where's Jessicah today?", he asked, still smiling from when Jamie tripped over.

I shrugged. "I don't know. Why would I?", I asked him casually.

"You should know... you're, like, her boyfriend.", he laughed.

"What!? I didn't even know I had a girlfriend?", I asked in shock.

Chaz shook his head. "Um, Justin. It's cause you don't.", he re-assured me.

I sighed in relief. "Oh right, you were joking.", I said and relaxed.

"Seriously, you should really learn to ignore everything I say. I could teach you.", he offered.

I laughed. "I'm good thanks."

I pulled out an apple since it was recess and I was hungry. Chaz just shrugged and let the topic go.  We sat in silence for a few minutes, just watching the rain fall and watching people run to avoid getting wet. 

I looked at my watch and counted the seconds until the bell went. The bell scared me and Chaz as we were sitting right under it and didn't notice. We were going to be late for class as we had to take the ling way around to stay out of the rain but I had to go to my locker first.

Once I found my locker almost everyone was in class. So I said goodbye to Chaz and he went off to his lesson. I didn't realise at first but there was a girl trying to get into my locker.

"Hey! You do know this is my locker right?",, I asked and tapped her on the shoulder.

She turned around and her hood fell off. It was Jessicah.

"Jessicah? I thought you weren't coming?! Oh and why were you trying to get into my locker?", I asked trying to rush a little so I wasn't too late to class.

She bit her lip. "Um I just got to school because wasn't feeling well this morning and I forgot this was your locker...", she said but I could tell she was lying.

"But your locker is in the other corridor?",  I asked, hoping she would confess.

She shrugged. "I'm new here and all the corridors look the same to me.", she lied again.

I just nodded. "Oh okay then. I should probably;y go to class. See you in maths later.", I told her and walked off to english where Chaz was waiting.

I knew that Jessicah was lying about thinking that was her locker because she is a terrible liar but I just let it slip. I would get the truth eventually but fiow now, whatever she was looking for about me, she wasn't going to find.
