~Kodia~
It had been a long time the last time I looked back at the destroyed boat docks.
We took refuge in a small tea house on the far corner of Shiganshina and stayed there, where the Titans would find it hard to find us.
Luckily there were some food left in the house when we stayed. We carefully shared it so that we wouldn't over consume our rations,
But now the food source was getting and smaller. It was about time I went out to scavenge some food in other houses.
My little brother poked his head out of the covers as I slipped on my jacket and tied my hair up.
"Where are you going sis?" He asked,
I bent down and rested my hand on his head.
"Don't worry, I'll be back, I just need to get some business done,"
"Are you going out to where those monsters are?"
I smiled sadly, "Yeh, but I'll be fine! Your sis is stronger than you think!"
He smiled and nodded.
"Be careful!"
I slowly opened the door, it made a small creaking noise as it turned onto its rusty hinges.
Fresh air hit me in the face almost immediately. My eyes had to readjust to the light as we had confined our selves inside the dusty house for ages, the windows were dirtied, so it rendered eyes unable to see clearly what was in inside or outside.
The Titans were now roaming all over the place, walking blatantly, no clue at all at what their doing. Like they have no brains.
Which they don't.
I ducked quickly through the rubble and entered houses in search for some left over food, or bread.
I had found several items that seemed edible and stuffed them in my jacket, it would be enough to let us last for a month or so.
As I exited the house by the door, I faced a titan staring right at me.
I froze, my blood ran cold as my heart beat faster. It's eyes stared soulless at me, it's huge smile barred all its teeth, all of them.
In a flash I dodged as its hand bashed onto the roof above me.
It turned its head towards me again and walked in huge strides. I picked up my pace as I dove in and out of alley ways in order to out run the titan, or outsmart more like.
The footsteps of the titan receded as I breathed a sigh of relief.
It was about time I got back home.
I took a shortcut back to our house quickly while holding the food items closely to my chest.
As our house came into view I saw Titans surrounding it.
I stopped in my tracks and hid behind a wall.
Oh god? What were they doing here?
What about? Him.
I observed the situation, but my eyes went wide as I saw them take out something.
A small boy in their hands.
I immediately dropped my items and ran blindly.
"Brother!" I screamed.
My little brother had tears streaming out of his eyes.
"Kodia! Kodia please help!"
I didn't know what to do. My mind was in shambles.
"Wait for me! I'm coming for you!"
But as soon as I neared the site the other Titans started coming for me. I tried to dodge them as I ran.
My mind was only focused on one thing and one thing only, to save my brother.
"Kodia! Kodia please-!"
I heard his pleads as I tried to save him. But it was useless, I wasn't strong enough, I was weak.
"Kodia! No please, hurry-"
His voice was cut off by the sound of bones crushing and blood splattering every where. I stood there, as I saw his remains, his body was still intact but the head was torn off.
The Titan tilted its head and dropped my brothers limp body into its mouth, chewed then swallowed.
My breathing patterns became fast and irregular.
I was mad. I was shocked I was everything but happy. Or even worse.
I was angry, angry at my self that I wasn't there for when my brother was in trouble, when he needed me at this time, I wasn't there.
The Titans were starting to head my direction now.
I dropped to my knees and cried in anguish, burrowing my head in my heads as I broke down.
I hate this, these Titans, these creatures, I hate them all!
I screamed and suddenly felt a surging power.
Suddenly I could see everything. My vision displayed the whole ruin of shiganshina. I was humungous but I didn't care, I had the temptation to kill everything. Everything.
I went into rampage, everything was going so fast but I powered by anger.
I took out the two Titans in front of me with ease as their heads got bashed in. I roared out of instinct and ran, killing all the Titans I could in my way.
But I still couldn't get my brother back.
Even after all this, there was no way I could get him back, ever. I was even more anguished than ever and continued to take out the incoming Titans.
After several hits, I was exhausted. I didn't know what was happening, what I had turned into.
I fell into my knees and onto the ground.
My vision changed again. Now I was in some kind of red dome.
I pulled my self out automatically and saw that I was normal size again, but I was too tired to register anything as I fell off a big humanoid body and onto the ground.
A tear streamed down my face as I lay there.
Was I going to die here? At least I'd meet my brother, I hope he'd forgive me.
I closed my eyes and breathed out. Wait for me.
Time passed ever so slowly.
I was woken up by the sound of footsteps coming towards me.
"Hey! What's this? A survivor out of the wall?"
"Take her in, hurry,"
"Yes sir,"
