CH31: Rogue Titan part 3

~Eren~

Armin looked at me like I gave him a rock for his birthday.

"But...I can't do it," Armin stuttered as he fumbled with his fingers.

"You're the only one who can do, I trust you," I said as I put my hand on his shoulders. I could tell that Armin was not convinced enough, he was our only hope, I'm going to have to keep on going.

"I believe in you, you may not have confidence in your self but I believe you have,"

Armin looked at me and then looked at the ground before shaking his head. "No, I can't. I'm-I'm too scared...why would you even intrust this crucial mission to me?"

"Because you always figure out the solution in the end, I know it," Eren said.

"I-" Armin started to stutter.

Suddenly Marisa places her hands on his shoulders and looked at him with with a hard stare.

"You want to keep Eren alive or don't you? I know you can do it. We all believe in you! But....but if you're too scared then I'll charge out there and try to kill every single one of them,"She said, anger burning in her eyes.

Armin stayed silent in awe, "I-I don't..."

~Marisa~

Armin breathed out for a second before standing up. His lips trembled as he looked at the ground for a second before raising his head.

"I'll do it! I don't want to be the only one who has to stay back and watch!" He said.

Mikasa, Eren and I all made a surprised face.

"Wait, Armin, are you sure?" Eren asked hesitantly.

"Yes," he replied back.

We all slowly nodded.

"Thank for making me realise," he added and readjusted his shirt.

Well that escalated quickly.

He then stepped out of the fog and out into the world that was awaiting us.

"Good luck," I whispered as I helped Eren up while Mikasa readied her swords. Suddenly my leg fell under me and I lost my balance. Luckily Mikasa caught me before I could fall flat onto my face.
"Ah sorry, my leg suddenly..,"

"Marisa, you gotta stop forcing your self,"

I looked down, "I know."

I heard Armins footsteps stop, he must have already reached the outside.

"Please stop! Eren is not a threat to any one!" He shouted.

I heard the loading of canons and Kitz's voice, "How can you be so sure!?? Prove it! And then I'll see!"

"There is no need for further proof!"

"What??"

Armins voice subsided for while before talking again.

"This isn't about how we see him! This is about what he did! Evey onesaw him fight the Titans right?? That means that they see him in better than us! There is nothing you can say to change this!!"

Flurry of hesitant voices flooded the thick atmosphere.

"Yes that right..."

"A titan as an ally?"

"We did see him fight..."

"PREPARE THE CANONS! DONT FALL FOR THIS CRAP!" Kitz shouted over the voices.
