After the sun had set, they decided to walk around the boardwalk.

"Where do you wanna go?" Scott questions, swinging their hands.

"Can we go there, Alpha?" Mitch asks, pointing to a colorful looking shop. Scott nods and they walk into the store. Mitch sees a cage of hermit crabs and jumps back so much he runs into Scott.

"I'm so sorry, Alpha. I didn't mean to run into you, I promise. I'm sorry, sir." Mitch rambles, panicking.

"Mitchy, it's okay. You didn't mean to, so I'm not mad. What scared you, baby?" Mitch takes a few deep breaths to calm himself down before answering.

"Those things, sir. What are they?"

"Those are just hermit crabs, they can't hurt you from there."

"How are they standing on the side? Are they magic?"

"No, sweetheart. They can wrap their legs around the bars of the cage and hang onto it." Scott explains as Mitch watches them in fascination.

"Alpha look! There's a Spongebob one!" Mitch exclaims. Scott looks down at the boy with a fond smile and lets go of his hand to put his arm around the Omega's shoulders. They walked around the boardwalk some bored and they came across a store that makes personalized jewelry and clothing. They go into there and look at the rings.

"We should get matching rings, Alpha." Mitch suggests, gently tugging on his hand.

"Okay, what colors should we get?" Mitch thinks for a minute before gasping once he thinks of something.

"I should get one that matches your Alpha eyes and you can get one that matches my Omega eyes!" Mitch tells him, excited about his idea.

"That's a great idea, sunshine. Let's go tell them what we want." They do just that and request what they want, showing the person their eyes so they can do it accurately. They get their rings after about 15 minutes and slide them onto their fingers before holding hands again, deciding to go home. They played more games on their way home and were currently playing I Can't Even. It's where one person has to rant about whatever the other person tells them to for thirty seconds.

"Mitchy you have to rant about this traffic light. Starting now." Scott gestures to the light they were currently sitting at.

"I can't even believe how long we have been sitting at this light. There are no other cars, why can't we just go? How is a light allowed to be red for this long? I just wanna get home and cuddle with my Alpha but that can't happen if you never turn green, now can it?" Mitch rants until the timer goes off, indicating the time is up.

"Okay, Alpha, you have to rant about..umm.. me. Starting now." Mitch tells him, curious about what he's going to say.

"I can't even understand how it's humanly possible for someone to be so beautiful. Like you're everything anyone could ever want. Why are you so perfect?" Scott rants for 30 seconds until the timer goes off, Mitch's face bright red.

"Thank you, Alpha." The continue the drive home, just talking and listening to music. Once they get home, they walk upstairs to their room to get ready for bed. They then lay down; Mitch's head on Scott's chest with his arm thrown over the Alpha's waist, Scott with an arm protectively around Mitch, and their legs intertwined. Scott turns off the bedside lamp, making the small nightlight that Scott got for Mitch the only light in the room.

"Goodnight, my angel." Scott pecks the top of Mitch's head.

"Goodnight, Alpha." Mitch snuggles further into Scott's embrace. Scott quickly falls asleep, tired from the day they had. Mitch, however, is a different story. It was about 11:00 when they got into bed and is now around 2:05 AM. He sighs, deciding he wouldn't be able to sleep anytime soon and goes downstairs. He makes a cup of tea and sits on the couch with a blanket, watching YouTube on the computer. He's used to this, as he wasn't able to sleep much in his old Pack. He's gone almost four days without sleeping before, but that doesn't mean he enjoys it. About three hours pass and it's now 5:30 in the morning, Mitch is currently watching Netflix.

"Hey, Monkey. Can't sleep?" Todrick asks, sitting next to Mitch. Mitch takes out his ear buds, shaking his head.

"No, I've been up all night. I should've come and gotten you, I'm sorry." Todrick gently takes the laptop from him and closes it.

"Don't apologize, it's okay. Come on, I'll get you something to help you sleep." Mitch nods and grabs his hand as they go to the kitchen. Todrick gives him medicine that will help him fall asleep and sends him off to bed. Mitch crawls back into bed and curls back up into Scott's warmth, the latter subconsciously putting an arm around him to pull him closer. Mitch falls asleep not even 20 minutes later. He wakes up again four hours later when his 'pillow', Scott, gets up.

"Mitchy, wake up." Scott gently shakes him awake, causing the Omega to groan.

"Mm.. Five more minutes." Mitch buries his head back into his pillow.

"C'mon, it's almost ten. We should get up." Mitch sighs, knowing he shouldn't argue with an Alpha. He turns over to look at Scott, eyes barely open as he was still not fully awake.

"Morning, Alpha." Mitch looks up at Scott, who was standing next to the bed where he was laying.

"Good morning, sunshine. Are you hungry?" He asks, a small smile on his lips.

"A little bit. Can we get something to eat, please?" Mitch looks up at him with hopeful eyes.

"Of course we can, baby boy, you don't have to ask to eat." Scott holds out a hand for Mitch, who gladly takes it, and they go downstairs.
