Todrick wakes up the next day and is surprised for a second when he notices Kevin isn't there until he realizes he's not home. He unplugs his phone, he used to keep a phone charger in his dresser, and looks to see a text from Kevin.

Kev💛: Tod, we're all thinking of a way to come get you, I promise.

Tod🧡: Please hurry, he's getting frustrated and I don't want to be here when he loses control.

Kev💛: We're trying, baby. You'll be home soon, I love you.

Tod🧡: I love you, too.

Todrick hides his phone and charger before going back out to the living room to see Carson isn't awake yet. He doesn't think as he makes himself a sandwich and goes back into his room, locking the door behind him.

He FaceTimes Mitch, "Hey, Monkey. Hey, Scott."

"Hi, Toddy."

"Hey, Tod. What's going on?"

"He's not awake yet, I'm just enjoying it."

Carson wakes up a little bit later and goes to open Todrick's door, only to have it be locked. Luckily Todrick heard a noise and told Mitch to mute the phone again before he put it under a pillow.

Carson goes to his room and gets the key before unlocking it and bursting in, causing Todrick to jump out of his skin.

"I thought I said no locking the door." Todrick freezes as he remembers Carson's warning.

TRIGGER WARNING

He stands up, "Yes, you did. I just forgot and I apologize." Carson grabs Todrick's throat, not enough to choke him, and slams him against the wall.

"Why don't you start apologizing by getting on that bed and spreading 'em for me?" He pushes Todrick toward the bed.

"No, please!"

"Not so tough now, huh?"

Mitch and Scott are still on the other line, Mitch shaking with sobs as he listens to Todrick's cries and screams on the other line, along with hearing the occasional slap that indicates Carson hit Todrick.

They would hang up, but they know Todrick will need them afterwards and they're not about to leave him now. Scott had turned the volume down as far as it'll go, but they could still hear it.

"H-He used to m-make me watch. He s-said if T-Toddy was taking my place, I had t-to be... p-p-punished somehow." Scott holds Mitch tighter until the noise finally stops and they hear a door slam. They hear Todrick crying and Scott unmutes them when Todrick picks his phone back up.

Todrick has a black eye and a cut on his lip, along with a slight bruise on his cheek.

"Fuck it, I'm coming to get you. Mitchy, you stay here and I'll be back."

"Alpha, you can't go alone."

"N-No, he's leaving now. He said my crying was too loud."

"See? I'll be okay, baby boy. And I'll bring Toddy back to you, I promise."

"Please, bring me with you."

Scott hesitates, "What if he hurts you again?"

"He just left, he probably won't be back for a while." Todrick tells Scott

"Fine."

After telling the rest of the Pack, they get in the car and drive to the house, parking a few houses down until Carson's car is out of sight. They get out, go up to the door, and Scott knocks. Todrick appears in the door window a few seconds after and points to the normal window that is open except for the screen.
