Okay, so what I was thinking is this: I'm going on a choir trip this weekend, so I won't be able to update. BUT, I might publish a chapter everyday this week except for Saturday and Sunday.

Would you guys want that?

"Kurvy, I have a joke for you."

"Oh lord, what is it?"

"A Spanish magician says he's going to disappear on the count of three. He goes 'Uno, dos-' and disappears. He disappeared without a tres."

"That was terrible."

"No, it was hilarious. I see you trying to hide your smile and you're a terrible liar."

"Okay fine, it was adequate."

"I'll take it. The Alphas will find it funny, I bet."

"They definitely will. You should to tell them." Mitch gets up to go see the two Alphas standing in the kitchen.

"Alphas, I have a joke."

"Is it Avi's social life?" Mitch laughs, Avi just punches Scott's arm.

"What's your joke, Smalls?" He tells the joke again and both Alphas laugh

"That was good. You came up with that?" Scott asks after he stops laughing.

"Yep, I'm a genius. I'm like Toddy."

"Who's like me?" Todrick appears out of nowhere.

"Your favorite Omega in the whole wide world." Mitch walks over to hug him.

"Ah, yes. You can be like me all you want, but you're still always going to be a Monkey. And the little baby you're carrying will be Tiny-Baby Monkey." Mitch smiles and they pull away from the hug.

"No fair, the unborn fetus gets a nickname before I do?" Avi pouts.

"You can be Bearded-Dragon-Dude."

"I like it. Carry on."

"What about me?" Scott pouts just like Avi did.

"Dude, you already have a name."

"Not that Strongest Alpha name, a nickname."

"Fu...fudge. Oh yeah, I already call you Baby Daddy. There you go."

"Nicknames are overrated anyways."

"Hey, just 'cause your middle name is Dick, doesn't mean you have to act like one."

"How the hell do you get Dick from Richard?"

"You ask him nicely, Alpha." Mitch quietly jumps in, making both Alphas lose it again.

"Holy crap that was a good one, up top." Avi high fives Mitch.

"I'm proud of you for that." Scott throws an arm over his shoulders and pecks his lips.

Kirstie then walks into the room and Mitch immediately puts his hand on his stomach, a new nervous habit of his, and looks down.

"I don't know, why don't you ask him." Mitch hears Avi whisper.

"Because I'm not allowed to talk to him." Mitch sighs and tells Scott that he's letting her talk to him for now. Mitch and Kirstie go into the Betas' room to talk.

"What could you possibly need to ask me?"

"I said I'm sorry. I apologized. What more do you want?"

"Maybe a friend who doesn't bring up my abusive past and call me a whore for getting pregnant the first time I have sex."

"I'm sorry, Mitch. I was just jeal—" Mitch tears up and his bottom lip starts to wobble.

"You lied to me, Kirstin! You promised you'd never judge me for my past and you'd always want me to be happy! You fucking promised! And then you go and you break that promise by bringing up the worst thing to ever happen to me!"

"B-but what about the baby? You told me I could be their Godmother."

"How can I trust you with my baby? How can I believe that you won't 'accidentally' tell my child that they weren't planned? What if one day I get home and little Peyton comes up to me saying," He makes his voice slightly higher, "Momma, Kirstie told me that I'm a mistake and that you and Daddy didn't mean for me to happen. What does she mean?"

"I would never say that to a child!" Kirstie's eyes start to water.

"I wish I could believe you, but look what you made me do. I don't want you anywhere near my baby." Mitch walks out of the room and finds Scott. Once he does, he grabs his hand and they go upstairs, Scott closing the door behind them. Mitch puts his hands on top of his head and takes a few deep breaths, refusing to let himself cry. Scott stands with his back against the door, knowing to let Mitch have his space until he wants comfort.

"I told her I don't want her near Peyton." Mitch whispers, looking at the wall.

"I heard."

"We need a new Godmother."

"I figured."

"Can it be Toddy?"

"If he wants to." Mitch nods.

They both stand as they are for a few minutes before Mitch finally walks over to Scott and puts his hands on his chest, standing on the tips of his toes to kiss Scott. Scott puts a hand on the back of Mitch's neck to deepen the kiss, pulling Mitch closer in the process. He flips them around so Mitch is the one who has his back against the door. Scott picks Mitch up, holding the bottom of his thighs, without breaking the kiss as the brunette wraps his arms around Scott's neck.

All too soon, they pull away for air and rest their foreheads together.

"Remember when I said you were a good kisser?" Mitch whispers.

Scott chuckles, "Yeah, I remember that."

"I was wrong. You're better than good. When I know a word to use for it, I'll get back to you."

"Wow I feel honored."

"You really should." Scott gently puts Mitch down and they decide to go back downstairs.

"What did you two do up there?" Avi asks, raising a suggestive eyebrow.

"Get your mind outta the gutter, child."

"Child? I'm two years older than you, Buckets."

"Which means you'll get gray hair first."

"You're having a kid, I think that will make you gray before me."

"No, because my kid will be very well behaved."

"Unless he's anything like you."

"Yeah, but if she's anything like Mitch, I'll be good to go."

"Thanks?" Mitch questions.

"No problem."

"I'm hungry, by the way." Scott checks the time.

"Oh yeah, I guess we should figure out dinner plans. What does everyone want?"

"Takeout." Mitch instantly answers. Everyone agrees with the idea and Scott calls in their orders. They all sit down and watch The Greatest Showman in the living room.
