"Is it okay... that we're here?" The black haired boy asked gently, as if testing the water.
You looked at the pair of men in confusion and then realized what he was hinting at. He and his friend were holding hands. That was his boy friend. It clicked into place for you and allowed you to act appropriately.
"Yeah, sure, just don't cry in my flowers. It really isn't good for them, regardless of the nickname of this place." You made reference to the "garden watered by tears".
The brown haired boy chuckled at your bluntness. It was endearing, he thought.
"Can I ask your names and if you are looking for something in particular?" You abandoned Miko to try and persuade these new customers to buy something.
"Well, nothing in particular. My name is Kotoba Junichi." The black haired boy introduced himself.
"I wanted to get him a birthday present from here. So it can't be anything too hard to take care of. Moyuru Koda." The brown haired guy was a little bit more blunt, but you couldn't help but appreciate the gesture he was making for his boyfriend.
"Would you like something that is easy to care for or difficult to kill?" You asked. Those were two separate types of plants and distinguishing between them is what made you the person in charge here.
"Uh, well I suppose difficult to kill. I doubt that you'll take care of it at all unless I bug you about it." Koda replied as he pulled Junichi close.
Jyunichi laughed in response, which in turn caused you to laugh.
"Cactus?" You suggested as you wiped at your eyes. "Very difficult to kill."
"That's not romantic." Koda was very blunt.
"Koda! She's trying to help us. As well as being very accepting of us. You could at least try to use your manners." Junichi scolded Koda.
"It's alright. False Indigo." You said as you giggled a little more. "False Indigo is what would be perfect. Just water it when you remember and it will more than likely continue to bloom. Hardiest flowering plant out there."
"Then False Indigo it is. Please, show it to us." Junichi smiled so largely that Koda couldn't help but crack a smile. As Miko had long figured out, it was quite nice here. It felt like a bubble from the outside world to Koda and Junichi just as much as it was for Miko. Speaking of which, Miko was patiently waiting for you to do your actual job.
It didn't take much longer for you to escort the boys to the false indigo, allow them to pick out their favorite one and pay for it.
"We'll have to come back here, Koda." Junichi reluctantly let go of Koda's hand as he held the door open for him.
"Hmm." He looked back at you, who waved politely at him. "Yeah, I guess."
And with that, they left.
You turned towards Miko who you could tell was dying to say something.
"Do you know who those two are?!?" She practically yells at you.
"Are they paying customers?" You ask, taken aback.
"No! How can you be so dense sometimes? It's like you never look at the news!"
"I don't, Miki."
"Well anyway, those two were the super star track students! They're breaking records!"
"Well to me, they're paying customers. No more, no less. I can only hope that they come back for more."
