Overlooking a ship isn't easy. The last time I was "a part" of a launch, I could just watch the crew do all their duties. All I had to do was stay out of their way. But now I'm here to enforce, to make sure they do their jobs right. I'm not sure if I'm the greatest guy to do that.

I wasn't dressed like a captain apparently should be, therefor the crew didn't really take me seriously. So that's when I had to get mean. I don't like to yell, but I'll do anything to just get this ship in the air.

I watch every member of the crew for a short time during the launch, and they all seemed to know what they were doing, except that Sam.

Being the only human out of twelve more foreign aliens, he was pushed around a lot while they all rushed to do their jobs. When the ship started to rise out of the atmosphere and the anti-gravity hadn't been activated yet, he acted like he was really freaking out.

Obviously a first-time Spacer, new to the crew, I suspect. Let's just hope he pulls his weight during the rest of the voyage.
