Saytee

I'm not going to just announce this to the crew. "Hey, check it out, I'm a girl." Yeah, I'm sure that will get me lots of friends.

The next morning, I just kept my hair down and tightened my shirt a little. Not trying to attract attention, but it was enough to show my figure. I received plenty of looks, but nobody confronted me.

I tried my best again to keep my head down, hiding mainly in the crows nest where nobody seemed to occupy.

Space is so confusing. It's never daytime, always night. There was no way to tell what time it was, unless you had a device to tell you, which I didn't.

Like I said, most of the day was laid back and smooth sailing. The crew would always either be in small groups and chatting, below and eating, or sleeping.

I couldn't sleep, even though I knew it would pass more time. I tried my best, but I was just too afraid without my boy disguise.

It seemed like I had sat up there forever. It must have been twelve hours. I couldn't help but start to doze off finally...

I was startled awake with the sound of tapping on wood and the mast shaking slightly. Soon I saw a shadow in front of me, and I jerked my head around to see who was climbing up.

It was a crew member. He climbed over me, his metal leg almost stepping on my own, and he crouched in front of me.

I knew this guy. I can't remember his name, but we'd talked before, when I was Samuel. He seemed about my age and he's the one who said I could be in the crew. Now I'm wondering if he saw through my disguise the whole time.

He smirked devilishly, his cheek bones rising and making his one cyborg eye just one line of orange light. If he wasn't like that, he would be quite handsome.

He started to laugh. "See, I knew it just wasn't right." I kept quiet as he moved closer, sitting by me so our hips touched. He looked ahead, letting me only see his human features.

"You had a good plan. Wait until we were in space so we couldn't kick you out of the crew." He turned his head, the cyborg eye literally scanning me...and in the oddest of places. I scooted away and covered myself.

He laughed again and moved closer again, this time pinning my waist to the ground with his gadget hand. It was long enough to cover my hips and hold me down. I still struggled.

"Or did you have different intentions?" He asked, grinning devilishly again. I swung my arm at him, my elbow making contact with his chin. "Get away from me!" I screamed.

With the combination of the hit and the yell, it only excited the cyborg more. He silenced me with his lips, pinning my arms down with his free hand.

Now I really couldn't move. I couldn't feel what else he was doing, and I didn't want to know. I wasn't going to surrender to this objectification, but there wasn't anything I could do.

After a few more seconds, I suddenly felt the boy's body being torn off of me, his hand staying around my hips. I opened my eyes, seeing Jim pointing a gun at the boy and looking very intimidating.

"Let go of her, cyborg." Jim reprimanded as he cocked the gun. The boy slowly let go of me, knowing he'd been beat. It was then that I'd realized Jim had brought more men with him, and they grabbed the boy, suddenly dragging him down the mast. To the brink, no doubt.

I hadn't realized how exposed I'd really been until Jim finally shifted his gaze to me. I covered myself as best I could, not making eye contact. He leaned down and picked me up, carrying me down to the deck.

Wow, he was strong.

But this was not the time for flirting. I was so embarrassed. He took me to a room I hadn't seen, his living quarters, I'm guessing, and he sat me on the bed.

He knelt in front of me, I still didn't look at him. "Are you alright?" He asked me. I blinked away tears. That was terrifying.

He sighed and walked to the closet, pulling out an extra blanket. He came back to me and draped it around my shoulders. "You can stay in here as long as you want." He told me gently.

With that, he ambled back to the door and went back outside. I sat there in the same position for a while. I could not believe that just happened to me.

Not that it hadn't ever happened before, it's terrifying every time.

"Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry." I told myself.

I started to relax, knowing I was safe here.

I looked around the room. It seemed simple enough, like a captain's quarter would be I guess. He had plenty of old pictures of who I guessed was him and his mother and father, because he looked really young.

I laid down, careful not to mess up the bed. I easily fell asleep, feeling secure here.
