School, is a death wish. Anybody wishing to go to school, knows they are going to go through hell. Conditions get a little worse when you are going to a school for kids with powers.

I am known throughout the world of supernatural abilities, as the legendary Six Prior. My real name, is Beatrice, and those lucky enough to learn that name call me Tris anyways.

I used to live in California, where I went to a normal school, but as my powers began to increase, I knew I couldn't stay there.

Divergent High is known for being the best for young teens with powers, so I decided to move here, to Chicago. I decided even two years of being at a better school would help, Since I am a junior now.

I walk around our large house, searching for some thing to wear. Even if everybody would already know me, I know first impressions are important.

I take a few minutes, and finally find some clothes. It is something that reflects who I am, someone who shouldn't be messed with.

I have on a black t-shirt, black ripped jeans, a leather jacket, gloves, and sneakers.

I leave my hair down, and do dark makeup. I have curled, black eyelashes, winged eyeliner, a smokey eye, and deep red lipstick. I learned all of my makeup tricks from one of my friends in California, Emmy.

I grab my phone and bag, and head downstairs. My brother probably already went to his normie school, and my Mom wouldn't be awake yet.

I grab my motorcycle keys, and head outside. If it's my first day back, might as well get there in style. For my 16th, I opted for my gorgeous motorcycle instead of a car.

I grab my helmet, and start her up. The noise is music to my ears. I start driving, a clear shot to the school. We only live a few streets away, which is convenient.

As soon as I find a parking space, I can already hear the whispers.

"Is it her?"
"Oh my god is it actually Six?"
"Its totally the legendary Six!"

I laugh to myself, finding their reactions hilarious. I take off my helmet, and place it on my bike.

Immediately, there are screams and a crowd of people have come outside.
I walk forward like it's nothing, ignoring any cat calls and yells for me.

I stroll to the front office, not phased.

"Six Prior. I need my schedule and locker combo." I mutter, leaning against the receptionist desk.

She pushes up her glasses, and her jaw drops, "I-uh. Okay."

She hands me a few sheets of paper, and I grin, "Thanks."

She smiles, "You're welcome. Glad to have you here Six."

"Glad to be here." I walk out.

There are people waiting outside to see me, but I just put on my sunglasses and ignore them.

I check out my locker combo, and schedule.

Six, Prior    Grade: 11
Homeroom: Wu, Tori
Locker: 466
Combo: 4-6-10

I get that far, thinking finding my locker is enough before I look at my schedule.

My eyes scan the crowd, looking for somebody that isn't freaking out. I spot a calm enough girl, with half shaved blonde hair and pale skin. In a way, she reminds me of myself.

I walk up to her, and she looks surprised for a second, but still doesn't go insane.

"Hey, I'm Six. Mind helping me to my Locker? 466." I ask, smiling.

"Oh yeah, sure. It's right beside mine." She says, walking through the crowd.

I follow close behind, trying to keep up. She brings me through a few large groups of people, until we finally get to the locker hall, where our lockers are easy to get to.

"Thanks..."
"Lynn."
"Yeah, thanks Lynn. Also, thank you for not freaking out." I laugh.

She smirks, "No problem, it's still cool to see you. Could I look at your schedule?"

I nod, letting her look at it with me:

1: History of the Gifts; Mr. Eaton

2: Homeroom; Wu, Tori

3: Power Controlling; Coach Amar

4. Mathematics; Matthews, Jeanine

Lunch

5. Art; Wu, Tori

6. English; Holland, Kaitlin

7. Free Period

"Oh that's cool. We have basically the same schedules, except, I don't have Mrs. Holland for English." Lynn says, grinning.

I groan, "Damn, it would've been nice to have you in all my classes."

She laughs, "I'm just so amazing."

I laugh too, enjoying a little bit of a relaxing moment. That is, until a voice squeals in my ear, making me jump. I get angry when I see it is just another excited girl, and my hair and eyes light up, flames licking the air above me.

"So that really happens?" The girl asks, staring at me in awe.

I try to cool down, but it isn't working. Lynn seems to have a group of people around her, friends, so I ask, "Can anyone help?"

Two darker skinned boys move forward, "We got this."

One drops water on my head, extinguishing the fire, and before it can get my clothes wet, the other one blows a strong gust of wind, drying it instantly.

"Thank you so much, what's your guys names?"

The seemingly younger one says, "I'm Uriah."
The older, "And I'm Zeke."

I grin, "Thanks guys. You have some nice friends here."

The girl who practically burst my eardrum looks beyond embarrassed, "I am so sorry Six, I just freaked out that you were talking to me friend! Also, I am Christina..."

I laugh, "Well, forgive and forget. Just don't do that again."

I look at the others around us, and ask for names. Lynn has a sister, Shauna and Uriahs girlfriend is Marlene. There is also Will, who is Christinas boyfriend, I think.

"Well, I am officially saying, you guys are my school guides. Does anyone else have Miss. Wu first period?" I ask.

Marlene steps up, "We all have the same schedules, I have invisibility so I  got into the computers and changed it."

I laugh, "Smart move. I have all of you guys in all class but one, I guess."

"Oh, I could go change that." Marlene says, smiling jokingly.

I think, "Actually, could you? Is it too late?"

She shakes her head, and disappears from my eyes in seconds. There is a gust of wind, before she comes back, smiling, "All done!"

"Um, super speed and invisibility?" I ask.

She shakes her head," Uriah just picked me up."

I hadn't noticed he had even left, it was so quick. Then again, invisible's can turn other people invisible with a touch, so it is not surprising.

"That was amazing." I respond, giving her a quick hug.

"Come on guys, we don't want to be late for class!" Shauna pushes us all, inevitably starting a new chapter of my life.
