Dear Beatrice,

I bet you're wondering why your dear old doctor is sending you a letter, when you have already moved to Chicago to try and get away. I'd like you to know, that little Ferris Wheel incident, was no incident. You tried to escape, but it won't work. I've got eyes everywhere.

I'd also like you to know that we won't stop hunting you and your little Divergent High friends until I captured every student. Be on the lookout at your school, some of those people might start dropping off like flies.

               With Coldest Regards,

                     Your old pal David

Everything is different. When I was only two years old, my father brought me to this stranger, David, because he was concerned. At that young age, I only had three powers, but that is still more than normal. Andrew was scared because his pathetic daughter was getting so many abilities, and I was a threat to his perfect little life.

David performed horrible tests on my tiny little self, painful and mind numbing. Sure, those tests are the reason I received three more powers, but they scarred me for life. He is the reason my awful excuse of a father started abusing his own daughter. Those scars have long faded, a mere memory, like my father. Andrew left when I was ten, ashamed of his drunkard, abusive self.

David kept finding me, however, kept performing those awful experiments. I would scream until my throat was raw, fight until there wasn't a drop of energy left in my body, but he didn't care. He tortured me until my mother finally fought back, getting high level security on our house after her daughter had gone missing several times. David wouldn't let me return home for weeks, even months at a time, until Mom had the sense to install protection in our new home.

David has been off the grid since I was thirteen, and since then my mind has barely healed. Getting to Chicago was another sense of protection, being away from the possibility of being kidnapped.

Now that's gone.

Taking a few minutes, I make a decision. I've got to tell Tobias, Christina, every one of my friends. I'm older, more mature, stronger than before. If my other peers know, they will help protect the school.

The last thing we should do is tell the principal, or Mom. She would lock me away like Rapunzel, whereas the principal would shut down the entire school, for fear of the kids. That would only make it worse, make it easier to take the other supernaturals without anybody noticing.

My best bet is to tell the others and we can hope for the best, or at least look into it ourselves.

After a quick text to the others, we all agree to meet at Zeke and Uriah's to talk. I grab the letter, along with my phone and clutch, and teleport to the Pedrad's.

Uriah, as usual, screams like a baby and falls flat on his ass. I roll my eyes, and dart to the living room. Zeke and Uriah join me, not daring to mutter a word. It takes a few minutes for everybody else to arrive, and pile onto the sectional couch and bean bag.

"What's the S.O.S. Six?" Christina asks, sitting on top of Will.

I stand up, letting out a tremendous breath. My hands are shaking ever so slightly, but Six isn't supposed to show weakness. I pull out the letter, and open up the folded paper. Just the sight of those words again make me want to go hide in a corner until David dies.

"You all know who I am, I'm Six, of course. But, there's a little more I haven't told you." I start, trying to choose the words carefully.

Christina smiles, "Whatever it is, really, it's okay. We will all love you the same."

"It's not okay!" I snap, pointing an accusing finger in her direction.

Her eyes tell me she's hurt, but her smile says that she is trying to be supportive.

I breath out heavily, trying to get my thoughts in order. After a quick reassurance, I look up, attempting to maintain eye contact with everybody.

"This started when I was two, with my fath-Andrew. I had three powers already, and Andrew freaked out. He brought me to a man named David. I never really learned his last name, he was just some nightmare in my young mind. Andrew thought I would be some awful nuisance in his splendid life. I was an interruption, me with my abilities." Tobias' face seems to tense up, suggesting for a second that he knows what I've gone through. "Andrew was an awful man, he wasn't even my father. That's beside the point, anyways."

Everyone is staring intently, absorbed in the world of my words. "He took me to David, where he would...he would experiment on me. I was poked and prodded and tortured and pushed to my limit, until I would break. He stuck me with serums to test a-and hurt me." My voice begins to falter, eyes watering.

"Six, that's awful!" Lynn says, for once showing sympathy.

I nod slowly, "That's not even the beginning. Everything was mind numbing, those excruciating serums gave me more powers, but it scarred me for life. As I became more powerful, Andrew... he..."

My voice trails off, a single tear falling down my red cheeks. My knees feel weak, and I let myself fall to the ground. Tobias leans down, holding me close. I wrap my arms around him, trying to stifle sobs. Once I finally gain my composure, I stand up, shaking my head, "To put it in short, Andrew abused me. Beat me with a belt, smacked me, hurt my mother, it was torture."

There are gasps around the room, looks of pure pity. "That's in the past, and not the point of this. Still, Andrew left when I was ten, but David kept taking me from my home. I would scream until there was nothing left in me, fight back until there wasn't a drop of energy left, but he still kept doing it. After I went missing so many times, my mom got top level security, and David has been off the grid since I was thirteen."

I'm bombarded with questions, screams.

"Will you all ever let me finish talking?" I screech, immediately stopping their voices.

Everybody peers at me, wide eyed. I clear my throat, "Yeah, I'm not just calling everyone over here because I want to tell you my life story."

I smooth out the paper again, reading the words clearly and concisely. Everything, about the threat, the Ferris Wheel, and David, is completely cleared by those words. Most of my idiot friends have their jaws hanging open, unsure of what to respond to this.

"That being said, what we need to do is keep this away from our parents, and teachers. I think then they might close the school, or we would be forced to stay home. That would make it easier for David to get to the others. We have to be the school watchdogs, it's our duty." I announce, hands crossed in front of me.

"We are a bunch of teenagers, what are we gonna do?" Zeke asks, utterly confused.

I laugh, my eyes rolling, "Zeke, you have the two most powerful supernaturals in the world, plus all of you. I think we can do this."
