"Makeovers?" I screech, shuffling away from the woman holding at least a dozen brushes, along with some prosthetic pieces sitting off to the side on a scuffed table.

"Darling, it must be done! If you are to go on your missions, then your identity must be completely hidden." She insists, grabbing my wrists.

Matthew casually strides into the large room, grabbing my already tense arm, "Six, calm down. You'll be fine, and it's only while you're out."

"What if it's an overnight mission? Then what?" I hiss, yanking my arm out of his tight grasp.

He laughs deeply, the blissful noise bouncing off the walls, "Trust me, you can have it on through everything. These are specially engineered so that you won't feel it, and they will withstand water, wind, messes, anything you can think of for years if you let it."

I furrow my brows, backing off, "But-"

"No buts," He interrupts, "Just do it."

A huff escapes my lips, "Fine, but I loathe this."

The woman  pulls me into the seat, and wipes off my face to get the dirt and whatever remains on my skin away. She then begins applying a rather uncomfortable sticky substance onto my jawbone, nose, and under my eyes. Once she adds my prosthetic pieces, I do really begin to look like an entirely different person. My jawbone is much more defined than before, my eyes more puffy, and my nose more bulbous. I look at least two years older than before.

"What kind of mission am I trying to do here?" I question. The woman begins packing foundation into my skin.

Matthew grins, "You, my friend, are going to be on an extra special mission, much more important than any of your friends."

"That doesn't tell me what I'm doing." I mumble.

"You are going to be deep undercover... and gaining David him selves trust."

I shake my head, almost laughing, "You're kidding right? I'm the one person that David is trying to kill more than anybody else."

Matthew smirks, "I most definitely am not. You are more likely to collect all incriminating evidence on him than anybody else in this facility. You are perfect for the mission."

I let out a breath, "Alright then, but how am I just supposed to suddenly get into this trust with David?"

"That's the process." He begins to explain, "You will be established with a family that works with David, whom are double agents for us. You will live there for a bit, before going for an interview at the company. Our connections ensure you will receive the position, and from there on, it's up to you to figure out how to get higher occupations. When you get to David's inner circle, and on the way there, you will be collecting information, that could even allow you to take down David by yourself."

I groan, "And how long will this take? Two weeks? Three?"

"We are estimating anywhere from six to twelve months."

I immediately push  the MUA away from me, jumping out the chair, "Hell no."

"Yes, you swore your allegiance to this rebellion, you will abide by your orders." Matthew shouts, grabbing my shoulder.

There was a momentary strange feeling by his touch, but it passed quickly as I shot back, "I can't just stay away from my entire family, my entire life for a year!"

"You must, Beatrice! This is your duty, and if you want to protect hundreds of thousandths of people just like you, then you have to do as I tell you! But if you want to go and just get yourself killed, along with countless others, then be my god damn guest!" Matthew demands, his voice loud and terrifying.
