Natalie hands me some pain meds for my muscles, and the eye drops, as well as holds a nice breakfast for me. For the most part I have gotten the same things everyday, eggs and bacon for breakfast, a sandwich and a water for lunch, and meat, potatoes and salad for dinner. There isn't much flavor, but it is at least something.

I grab the juice from my tray and swallow the pills, then put in the drops. I shake my head when they go in, feeling something weird. "Ah, I think I got dust in my eye." I whine, rubbing them.

Natalie laughs, "You're such a baby."

Suddenly I feel something like a pop, and a small buzz shocks my eye. I squeal, blinking rapidly.

Oh my god. I know what it is.

"Tris, are you alright?" Natalie inquires, grabbing my hand with a mother-like touch.

I nod, looking up at her, "I'm perfect."

Quickly, I double tap my temple. My vision blurs for a moment, small sparks flickering across my vision, before I know it's recording. Now I just have to hope and pray somebody at the DPA sees this.

Natalie tilts her head, "Are you sure? That was kind of strange."

I smile, "Yeah, just a twitch I guess."

She puts the tray on a small table next to me, which I pull over the bed.

"I think David is doing another infusion today." She says, throwing away some trash from the side of my bed.

I shake my head, "Fantastic. What is this, number four?"

She thinks, "Yeah. Maybe you won't wake up for this one. When he did that super speed, you didn't even flinch."

I barely remember it, but I do remember waking up to David at the side of the bed. He threw me a ball which I caught without realizing I had even moved.

"I believe it's invisibility, and he might try for two if he gets the other one in time." She explains.

I nod, shoving some eggs in my mouth, "That's interesting."

"Are you sure you're okay Tris? Something doesn't seem right." She asks raising her eyebrows.

I let out a breath, "I'm fine, really."

"If you say so."

I hold my head in my hands, tired after a long day. The monitors are the same as usual, just crowds of people hoarding through the stone halls of the compound. I shut them off, and grab my bag.

God, this shouldn't be like this.

A month and a half ago it was fine, David was so close to being taken down. But my Bea, oh my Bea. My beautiful, kind, but quick-thinking Bea. She had to explode.

That thought just replays in my mind, over and over again.

I could be holding her right now. She could be laughing and sitting on my lap, or sitting next to me biting her lip. Anything could be better.

I let out a breath, walking downstairs to the cafeteria. My friends sit in the middle, as usual. Zeke beckons me over, smiling.

I don't know how he can smile so easily.

My body slumps into the chair next to him, and I lay my pounding head on the cool table. Shauna sighs, placing a hand on my arm. I don't shy away, I don't do anything.
