"This is so beautiful!" Mrs Im commented when she saw Meera trying the wedding dress. Nikki was fanning herself in excitement. The family was out for wedding preparations with Joy by their side.
"This one is the best!" Nikki said while touching the fabric. She then turned towards Jaebum who was busy attending a call and stood by the big window, near the gates. "How does she look Jaebum?" Mrs Im asked trying to get her son'a attention.
"Pretty." He didn't even look at the future bride. Meera felt a pain in her chest but she tried to comfort herself. It's alright. I have to be strong.
The venue was decided too and Jaebum was still busy with his phone. Mrs Im was observing each and every thing. And she was getting annoyed by his attitude.
"When is the couple free? I have to arrange the dates for their per-wedding photoshoot." Joy said as she took a spoon of rice. They all were seated in a restaurant for lunch. Mrs Im turned to the so called couple to ask for their opinion.
"Tomorrow? Because after that I have my tests." Meera said nervously. She was a bit worried if her timings clashed with Jaebum's work.
"Tomorrow's fine." A short reply but enough to relieve the girl from her nervousness.
"I'll arrange all the things. Please reach the studio by 11 am then." Joy handed them the card of the photographer.
"What about the dance?" Nikki asked. "The couple's first dance should be perfect right aunty?" She then looked at Mrs Im. She knew by now that Mrs Im is the head and everything happens with her approval.
"Joy...please look for a nice dance teacher for them." Before Jaebum could interrupt her she gave him a glare.
"This bibimbap is really tasty."
.
.
."Enjoy!!" Nikki screamed as Jaebum led her cousin to the car. Their pre wedding photo shoot was scheduled for the day. Meera was hella nervous. After that incident where he left her at the store, she's never been alone with him. She was afraid. What if he leaves me again?
"You can play some music." Jaebum said when he realised that Meera was uncomfortable. He knew the reason which made him guilty. Meera extended her hand to press the button to play the radio. And luckily a soft song called 'You are my everything' was being played. She loved that song so much that for a minute she forgot that she was in the same car with Jaebum.
"You seem to like that song." Jaebum pointed out when the song was over. Meera nodded and then looked away. Her cheeks turned light pink.
When they reached the place, Jaebum got out of the car and opened the gate for Meera like a gentleman. They both walked next to each other inside the studio. Joy was already there to discuss with the photographer about the theme and concept.
"Good morning. I am Seulgi, your photographer and this is Lisa, my assistant." Both of them bowed at the couple which the couple happily accepted.
"We actually had some difficulty in deciding the theme since the bride likes simple things whereas the groom prefers anything but simple." Jaebum erupted into an awkward chuckle.
"Don't worry. We actually came with some ideas and let's hope that they turn out to be good." Seulgi continued and led them to the changing room.
"One of the best designers, Jessica Jung designed all your clothes, for the wedding as well this shoot." Meera looked at the elegant clothes in awe. From the fabric to the design, everything was perfect and to her liking. A plain white dress beautifully decorated with pearls and silver stones.
She quickly changed and then Joy did her make up. In a few minutes she was ready to go.
"I wouldn't be able to resist if I was your husband." Lisa commented when she saw Meera standing in front of the green background. Jaebum was initially busy on the phone but when he listened to Lisa's comment, he turned around to look at the girl. And indeed she looked beautiful. He ended the call and walked to his wife. He cleared his throat as a signal to start the shoot.
