"Merry Christmas!"

Jaehyun smiled as he handed a box full of pastries to a young boy who stood beside his mother. The lady gently ruffled the little boy's hair. "Inho.. say thank you."

Inho blinked before letting out a small thank you. Jaehyun could only smile at the shy boy. "Enjoy your holidays."

Meera was talking to Youngjae and his girlfriend, Minhi.

"I really appreciate it Minhi. You have no idea how thankful I am to you."

Apparently Minhi placed an order for a cake, for one of her friends' bachelorette party. It was their first big order. It has only been a few months and they already got their first big order.

"We'll try our best. You can count on us."

Jaehyun said and stood next to Meera. They were both happy and excited about it. It was a chance given to them to show their worth and make a name for themselves.

"I know that you guys will do well. We have to be somewhere right now. We'll meet later. Merry Christmas."

Youngjae said and then the couple left. Meera and Jaehyun got busy with some other work when another girl entered the shop in a hurry.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I overslept and forgot!" She placed her overcoat on the rack and went to Jaehyun. He lovingly wrapped his arms around her waist and captured her lips with his own.

"Merry Christmas." She smiled brightly.

"Merry Christmas Hina."

Moon Hina was Jaehyun's fiancée. They were in a relationship for around seven years and finally decided to take it on the next level.

"Merry Christmas to you too." Meera joked letting them know that she was there witnessing their romantic moment.

"Oh. Merry Christmas. Sorry I completely forgot about coming here. Thanks for waking me up."

Hina scratched the back of her head remembering how she ended up sleeping after watching 'Frozen'. Fortunately Meera called her again and again to remind her.

"It's alright. I should leave now." Meera looked at her wrist watch then handed her apron to Hina who wore it quickly and went behind the counter.

Meera had to be somewhere that evening and since it was a holiday, she couldn't leave. Hina decided to help them and be productive for a day.

"Thank you so much Hina. And Jaehyun, I promise I'll manage the New Years for you!" She quickly bid her byes and left Mr. Bakers with a small Christmas cake.

It was snowing that day. Little snowflakes rested on her shoulders as she walked to the nearest stand to get a cab. In a minute she found it and told the driver her destination.

"Which apartment madam?" The security guard asked her at the main gates of the apartments.

"G-1707."

The guard noted the details in the register and let her in with a smile. "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas." Meera smiled as well.

She entered the elevator and pressed the floor with an anxious heart. She was sure that she was more than ready and excited to be here but now her hands were trembling. The small cake suddenly felt heavy.
