After staying at the hospital for a day, Meera came back home for more rest. She was weak from all the exhaustion and a huge amount of blood loss which she was still experiencing.

"I'll bring you your lunch." Meera just nodded and looked away, staring at nothing in particular. Hyolyn looked at the girl sadly before leaving the room.

Meera pulled her legs closer to her chest and rested her head on top of her knees. Soon the silent room was filled with loud crying. Things were too much to take in for her. Her husband cheated on her, she lost her unborn child; she felt lost.

"Meera?"

Hyolyn knocked on the door before entering. She placed the tray on a small foldable table and carefully placed it on the bed, in front of Meera. "You need to eat a lot. Please." Hyolyn said and pushed the plate slightly, nudging her to eat it. Meera bit her lip and looked away as she ended up crying again.

"You want me to feed you?" Hyolyn picked up the spoon and scooped some rice along with her favourite curry. She brought the spoon towards Meera's lips. The girl slowly parted her lips and began chewing.

There was another knock on the door.

"Hey.." a soft 'hey' caught Meera's attention. The guest walked inside the room and sat on the bed before crawling towards Meera. "I bought this for you."

"Thank you Sana."

Sana kept the big fruit basket on the other side of the bed and moved closer to Meera. "It's good to see you eat." Sana said. She heard the news from Jinyoung who heard it from Yugyeom.

"Just one last bite." The bowl was almost empty as Meera looked away and shook her head. She ate more than she thought she would. But Hyolyn made her eat the last bite and the bowl was finished. Sana kept her company and talked to her about other things.

"I'll talk to Mrs. Im. It's been a long time." Sana said and pat Meera's head with a smile on her face hoping for her to smile too. I wish she could smile a little.

The two women left her alone for some time. Meera appreciated it. She wanted to be alone.

"Thanks."

Jaebum said as Jinyoung kept a cup of black coffee on his table. Just like Meera, he wasn't in a good condition either. His messy hair and creased shirt was enough proof to all the employees in the company that he was going through a hard time. It was a first for them to see their senior in such a way.

They all heard about the news and decided not to disturb him for the time being. They took some matters in their own hands so that there was no problem that would catch Jaebum's attention. They pitied him.

Jaebum rubbed his eyes and then picked up the coffee mug. He didn't sleep properly. He couldn't sleep properly. Every time he closed his eyes, he would see Meera's trembling lips and red eyes. It was hard for him.

His eyes went to his phone when the screen brightened indicating a message.

Dahyun: make sure to eat.

He sighed realising that he didn't contact her since that time. He pulled his hair in frustration till Jinyoung stopped him.

"I'll order something light for you. Eat as much as you can. Sana is with Meera so don't worry about her." With that Jinyoung left, not before standing near the door and sadly looking at his best friend. Stay strong Jaebum.

Jaebum leaned back on his chair and looked up at the ceiling. He didn't know what to do. Meera didn't want to talk to him no matter how much he tried. So he gave up for the time being. He needed some time as well to collect himself and his own thoughts.
