"Hey."

Meera greeted Jaebum when he entered the bakery. He had planned another date for them. The woman smiled at him as she went to him and he helped her wear her coat.

It has been almost a year since the time they decided to take things slow. They went out on more dates and shared intimate moments with each other.

"Have fun!" Jaehyun cheered for the couple as they left.

"What have you planned for our date?" Meera asked while he drove the car to an unfamiliar place. Jaebum smiled hearing her question. He had planned something special for the night.

The car stopped in front of a luxurious restaurant. Meera mentally groaned. She looked at her plain outfit. "You should've told me about the place before. It's too fancy for my outfit."

"Come on." He ignored her pleas and held her hand, walking her to the restaurant.

A waiter led them to a private room. Meera smiled behind his back. She wouldn't have to worry about people's eyes on her denims and shirt.

They seated themselves comfortably on the cushions and looked at the menu. They both were hungry and quickly gave their order.

"Nikki is getting married." Meera gave him the news and Jaebum choked on his saliva. "What? Nikki? Someone wants to marry that monkey?"

Meera burst into a small laugh but then defended her cousin. "She is a great person and deserves an equally amazing man. They work at the same place and fell in love. Isn't it sweet?"

By the time they finished arguing about Nikki, their orders arrived. They talked about the ceremonies and venues and food and clothes and guests and bookings and dates ...

"Let's walk around a bit. I need to digest the food. I ate a lot." Jaebum suggested and they went to the garden at the back of the restaurant. It was a little dark with only a few lights.

"I've been meaning to ask you something." Meera asked.

"Go on."

"Umm..." she hesitated for a bit before speaking, "what do you think about us? I mean that do you see us together in future?"

Her heart was beating loudly. She was scared to ask this question. They have been going out for a year and things went well for them. She wanted to be with him. She wanted to get married and have a family. She wanted all of that. With him.

Before he could answer, the whole garden lit up. There were all sorts of lights in different colours decorating the whole garden beautifully. Meera looked around surprised. A minute ago it was dark but now it was breathtakingly beautiful.

But then her eyes went to Jaebum who left her hand and stood in front of her. He took out a box from his pocket and went on his knee. He opened the black velvet box to reveal a diamond ring with blue sapphires on either side of the big diamond. It was simple and elegant.

Meera covered her mouth in shock as she teared up at the sight.

"I was really nervous. I didn't know how to bring this up but I'm glad that you helped me out." He said. He then bit his lip and took a big sigh before speaking again.

"Meera..I do see us together in future. I really do. I imagine sending our kids to school, I imagine fun Sundays when all of us will go out for picnics, I imagine seeing myself scolding my kids and how they run to you."

He chuckled a little to hide his nervousness and again took a big sigh before continuing.

"I love you Meera. I want you to be the only one for me. And I swear on my life that I will do it better this time. I'll make you the happiest woman in this world because you make the happiest man alive. I want to give you all the love and happiness you deserve. Please give me this chance to m-make things right....Will y-you marry me?"

His voice wavered in the end. He didn't know if it was due to his tears or his nervousness. But all that didn't matter when she closed her eyes and nodded, with her mouth still covered by her hand in shock.

Jaebum happily stood up and held her left hand to slip in the ring. He wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. He then pulled away slightly and placed his palms on her cheeks to claim her lips. Meera kissed him back with all the love she had for him. The kiss meant so much for them.

Jaebum reluctantly pulled away and let their foreheads touch. They had big smiles on their faces.

It was a new Beginning.

Two months later they got married in Greece. Unlike last time, this time the couple had a small wish list and their own personal requests. Jaebum wanted to get married in Greece and a beautiful beach. Meera wanted the wedding to take place during the day and to wear a white and light pink gown. She even took over the menu.

The decorations were perfect with white and silver curtains, and wild flowers. The sea breeze gently blowing the curtains as people stood with their glasses waiting for the bride to arrive.

Jaebum's eyes were filled with love as he saw his future wife walk towards him. Meera lovingly looked at her future husband when her uncle placed her hand in his.

The priest announced them husband and wife; and they shared a kiss as a married couple. They could hear the cheers of their loved ones who were happy for the two lovers.

Meera stood at the end of the aisle with her back at the crowd. She was about to throw her flower bouquet.

"One .. two.. three!"

She threw the bouquet with all her force and everyone looked at it expectantly. Everyone's mouth opened wide feeling the rush of excitement. It all went in slow motion as the bouquet rolled in the air but landed immediately with a loud thud..

On Mingyu's plate filled with chicken..like his mouth.
