8 - Worry

Hospital heart rate wasn't so good as he watched them lash out at one another. The tension in the air puts more stress onto him, making it hard for him to breathe. He was confused to no end not quite getting why they are that vile to one another. He wanted to stand up and go between them, especially after Levi was picked up this violently, but the cask around his leg and the pain in his chest made it impossible.
    He breathed out in relieve when all seperate and Levi sat down in his usual spot again. He was stressed out and looking at Levi even more confused. The words of Nile came back saying that he was in love with that woman. Sure she was a beauty and seems nice, but he felt nothing when looking at her, but he clearly feels affection when he looks at Levi. It could be that it comes only from the way Levi treats him currently, but even though it causes an unknown feeling in him. When he had seen them fight he wanted to keep Levi save and shove the other males ass out of the way.

    "It's ok Levi. He said a few things I don't understand and I feel very exhausted now. Was there a need to be so rough? Are you OK?" He worries more about the other male than about himself right now.
    "Levi is it true? Do I know him longer than you? He said so and that we were training together and both wanted to join the survey corps. I don't know what he means by that, but I guess he means the army with that. He must be a soldier himself by his looks." He breathes out long and closes his eyes in distress. "I feel like I only cause trouble right now. But Levi, would you mind not leaving again? I kind of, " he talks very slow and avoids eyecontact, cause what he is saying sounds a bit off, but he had to say it, "feel more relaxed with you here. I am sorry you must be tired and should rest as well." He runs a hand over his face continuing to look down on his blanket feeling so useless.

"Is that what he said?"
He said calmly, not liking the fact that Nile had stressed Erwin out. Still, he had no choice but to tell him what he knew.
"From my understanding, yes. You, him and a man with a lot more class than Nile would ever have were training together. Apparently you are good friends with him."
He said coldly before crossing his arms over his chest.
"Apparently, you and her were dating too."
He scorned at the thought of the two being together. The thought made him feel uncomfortable each time he heard Mike talk about it.

When Erwin began to talk about his feelings towards Levi being there. He paused and he left his heart speed up.
"You like me here?"
Every worry seemed to disappear when Erwin said that.
'Why?' He thought to himself.
"It's fine. I slept here for a few days. I am used to resting on this chair."
He said softly before grabbing the plate of food.
"Now, where was I."
His face was stern, knowing Erwin would protest being fed. He opened his mouth as if to command a child to do the same.
"I like it, just you and me. It is relaxing."
He smiled at him softly, his expression was that of a loving parent taking care of their ill child. His bond to Erwin was strong, even if he believed it was one sided.
