He closes his eyes as soon as Levi's hand makes contact with his shoulders and after a deep breath he turns to Bury his face in Levi's belly. He breathes his scent in deeply and wraps his arms around Levi's hips. Muffled are his sounds as he speaks up, the memories still clouded and out of order.
"My memories are a mess Levi, but I know, that I caused much distress and am the reason for death. I just don't know the full extent or the reason why." He turns his head and looks up to Levi with his chin still on his body. His eyes are shiny and sad.
"I know. I have buried a part of my heart with that box and I never wanted to see it again." He closes his eyes once more. "Tell me, Levi, what is this world like? Why did I had to Bury memories of my father, books of the world. Why are we behind walls?" He knows little to nothing about the island they live in, but he needs to know now to understand to sort his mind.
"How many more deaths have I caused?"

He could feel the other's pain and he tensed up, what had he done. He shouldn't of allowed it to get this far.
"I am so sorry"
He stroked Erwin's hair back, feeling torn and confused about his feelings. He kept wanting Erwin to forget, but at the same time he wanted the man back.
"I don't anything about your childhood. But.. Erwin. You are a hero to these people now. Their sacrifice was for humanity's freedom."
He got down on his knees so they were face to face with him and hugged the man tightly.
"You are a brilliant man. It's why I love you, you did it for the good of everyone."
That was a lie, he did know what pushed Erwin but at the moment, he had to make Erwin happy.
