19 - Sleeping

He holds Levi close with his arms stroking his back softly and feeling the tiredness crashing down on him.
    "With pleasure." The chuckle shakes his body. When it comes to Levi he would do everything for him. Having him here in his arms was more than he could have ever wished for. For the first time ever since he woke up he feels like himself. He feels like belonging here, right here in this bed with this man in his arm. Now he feels sure, that he can pull through everything and build a life again whether his memories return or not, it doesn't matter as long as Levi is with him.
    He cuddles him as best as he can and half a sleep he hums a "It's alright" against him, before finally drifting off to sleep. His body is still steaming hot and does not turn cold the slightest with Levi at his side. He had a dreamless sleep until the morning,, not needing any wish to demand his attention while sleeping. His face is relaxed and at peace, while his head rests against Levi's. Steadily his chest rises and falls with a deep sleepy breathing, all signs positive that his body was not over exhausted and still capable of recovering.
    What others would think about them didn't matter at all and if Hanji truly got a running mouth in the way she displayed that evening, rumors might as well already run through the corps. Speaking of which, she was torn between being cheerful and being sad, but her heart felt lighter knowing, tat Levi was with her. At least one of her dead friends returned to her even if she had to build up their friendship again, but it gave her some strength to go on as commander, to make him proud of herself. She said to herself, that she wants to try everything possible to help Erwin recover and maybe just maybe get at least a bit of his memory back. She actually wasn't sure of whether she wanted them to return or wanted him to make new better memories.
    "Nah I'll leave that up to him, yes, yes."

He groaned when the sunlight hit his face, even with his eyes closed, it felt like the sun's rays was burning his eyes. When Levi shifted to get away from it, his eyes shot up opened from the pain.
"Ah.. Fuck.."
Why did the aftermath of something so wonderful be so painful.
"It.. Hurts."
His body trembled from the pain and gripped the sheets tightly.

While he was in the middle of trying to handle his pain he heard a knock on the door and he had to move away fast and hid his body. In the light, the stain of blood from last night was very visible. The nurse came in and went to check on Erwin, thinking he might of reopened his stitches.
"Erwin, are you Ok?" She asked.
She pulled aside Erwin's blankets and looked for any injuries, there was a wet stain on Erwin's robe and she looked over at Levi.
"Sorry, for the disruption. I am here to let you know one of our nurses will be preparing you for a bath." She said as she put the blanket over him.
She blushed as she looked over at Levi, who was now tense. Both from fear and with anger of someone trying to help Erwin bathe.

When she left the room. Levi turned over to look at Erwin and sat up with a hiss.
"Shit.. That bitch better not touch you."
He growled at the door, as if he was threatening whomever entered the room.
"God"
He dropped back in the bed.
"My ass hurts so much."
He grunted. He felt bad complaining about it after everything he just did the night before.
