30 - Healing

He was looking between Hanji and Levi pondering over what he just said. Seemingly Levi trusts her and she must have a good quality despite her bewildering type.
    "Well assuming that I once had your position Commander..."
    "Ah no please this feels so weird Erwin, please call me Hanji again." She laughs and scratches her hair.
    "Very well Hanji, my pleasure. So I think I am right to assume that I named you as my successor right?" She nods her head and a sad smile hushed over her face. She didn't wanted to be sad in front of him, he didn't needed that currently.
    "Good then I trust in your abilities. The faster I heal and can walk around again, the faster I can get my memories back." The look he had now was so much like the one he had as commander, determined, strong and with a vision. Hanji shudders slightly.
    "Ah Erwin stop that. You just looked like you always did." He smiles at her now.
    "Isn't that good?"
    "Yes. I think, but it's a bit strange right now. Ah doctor I didn't noticed you." In fact the doc had been listening to them for a moment now and looks worried.
    "Commander Zoe I am not sure about what you want to do with that serum of yours. It could cause him more damage than it would do good. "
    "Doctor, I appreciate your thoughts, but I am the patient and I decide. She researched on this and I trust in her abilities. Let her proceed. And Doc I got a request. Could you bring me all records of memory loss you got?"
    "What for? Mr. Smith you shouldn't push on that." Erwin waves the response off and looks at him with a Stern look before looking at Levi and stating with a soft voice.
    "I want to at least try to get them back." The doctor sighs and walks to Hanji handing her a syringe.
    "It's on your own risk, but I always trusted your judgement Erwin and I won't stop with that."
    "Thank you. Let's hope this works." Erwin looks at Levi and takes Levi's hand in his own.

He held Erwin's hand and put his free hand on the blond male's left shoulder. He gave Hanji an all knowing look as she accepted Erwin's request.
"Ok then, Let's hope this works as planned."
She walked over to the desk and prepared the syringe. Levi's grip tightened around Erwin's shoulder, this was good. If Erwin got his memories back it would be a good thing. He knew that if Erwin did start to remember, this would all be over. Erwin was the kind that was married to his job and never let anything go deep enough for a romantic lifestyle. He even abandoned his lover for this place. Levi was no different, he dedicated himself to Erwin entirely, desiring no one but a man he couldn't have.

He watched Hanji stab the lid with the needle and suck in the liquid from the bottle.
"This is it. If you get your memories back, it will be back to normal."
He said with a tiny smile as Hanji walked over to them.
"I need his arms to pump this into a vein." She said.
Levi let get go and let Hanji left his firearm up. It wasn't that hard to find one and she stuck the needle in, pushing the serum into his veins.
"That should do it." She said.
Hanji gave Erwin a pat on the shoulder before making her way to the door.
"I'll check in on you in a few hours to see if the effects are working." 
She lifted her hand to give a small wave before walking out of the room.
