"Hey slut, so where are we going today?"

Nara jumped on Sunmi's back as she was busy fixing her hair using the mirror in her locker. She let out a shriek as Nara rarely do that. "Ugh you bitch, my lipstick is smudged." She whined.

Nara made a disgusted face, she wasn't the type to make up anyway but Sunmi had always cared about her appearance. "What's up with you?" Sunmi asked which made Nara to raise her eyebrows in return. "What do you mean?" She asked boringly.

"Yesterday you were all fired up in fighting spirit and now you actually want to hang out? What happened to your scholarship?"

At the mention of the scholarship, Nara stiffened. However, she shook the thoughts away as she didn't want anything to do with it anymore. She had no future anyway, why don't she just enjoy how her life was anyway? Besides, she earned a lot from 'fooling around'.

"In this household, we don't talk about that bullshit." Nara said and pushed Sunmi to start walking. "Well, you're following me. So in my household, spill." Sunmi said as Nara pushed her and they both walked out of school.

Both of them headed to a cafe a little further from the school. Nara wanted to be away as further as possible from that building. She hated the management, the painful truth of everything she played in. Sure, she had that tough and a broken damsel kind of shit portrayed as her image, but deep down inside she was just a high school girl with big dreams.

That girl was gone now.

"I'm dropping out of school." Nara said after a long silence. At the mention of it, Sunmi almost choked on her drink. "What the fuck?" She coughed, trying to get Nara to laugh, hoping it was a joke. "You're serious? Gosh, this is the first. Why?" Sunmi asked.

"That school is pure bullshit, the scholarship was their biggest bullshit." Nara said, anger flashed through her eyes. "I was just a con, they had decided the winner from the start. I don't even know why they had to give me a fucking hope and crush it like it was nothing!" Her voice raised by each word. She had her fists clenched on the table.

Before Sunmi could even ask further, Nara started talking more. "I heard the principal's conversation with Felix's parents. They sponsored the whole school's dance and yeah, she said that Felix was the one for the scholarship because he was better." She explained through gritted teeth.

Sunmi placed her hands on top of hers. "God, what assholes." She commented, she wasn't sure what to say as well because she had never been in her situation. For Nara to actually attend their high school, it costs a lot but she was on a scholarship. She was the only student on scholarship in the school, sponsored by the town council.

She was indeed smart, but lived an awfully poor life. At first everyone made fun of her, but look at her now. Her only competitor was Felix, the two of them were the smartest one in the school. The rest were just rich snobs.

"Aren't there other scholarships out there?" Sunmi asked, trying her best to ease the situation. "This is the only scholarship that offered full sponsorship in a medical field. I want to fucking get out of this country." Nara sobbed. She couldn't hold back the disappointment.

"I knew it, when she first told us about the competition, I doubted. It sounded too good to be true. For me to even get sponsored to this school in the first place required a lot of achievements and almost 9 stages to pass. But the principal simply said we only have to beat one another for finals. Bullshit, Felix was the best candidate obviously. Not only he was smart, he had the money the school needed." Nara laughed bitterly.

The two kept quiet for a while, Sunmi knew it was better for her to not say anything and Nara just needed some time to be pathetic. After her tears dried, she looked up. "So, aren't we going anywhere today?" She asked, changing the topic.

"I broke up with him." Sunmi bluntly stated. Nara thought she would be sad, but there was no sign of despair at all. "I knew from the start he was cheating but I was too lazy for a fight. He sucked anyway." Sunmi laughed.

"Wow, guess we're both losers now huh?" Nara smiled. They had always been the bitchy type but never thought they'd come to a time like this. Sunmi gave a small laugh, the two of them always chatted about inappropriate things, they never had a serious conversation like this.

"Say, since we lost in our lives, why don't we grab a drink tonight?" Sunmi playfully raised her eyebrows. "Are you mad? How are we suppose to enter?" Nara asked. "My dad's a regular there, once they see me they won't say a word." Sunmi winked.
