As Nara and Felix entered the next class, murmurs followed them everywhere. Nara on the other hand, kept her head low so that her hair would cover her face. She was somewhat embarrassed of the news.
How could she not? She had always been portrayed as the bad girl of the school, although smart she was tough and was definitely not the type for love or even small scandals. Not with someone like Felix especially.
"Did I miss anything?"
Nara asked, she didn't know when but her voice got so soft out of the sudden. She swallowed, trying to regain her voice. Jinyoung, her deskmate was startled at her suddenly calling him. "N-No, not really. All we did was repeat what we did last week." He answered.
Nara didn't bother to look at him, everyone had the same gaze on her. Curious, jealous? She didn't know what was going on in their head but surely they didn't like it. A lowlife like her with someone as elite like Felix? Absurd.
The whole day at school was basically Nara trying to avoid staying close to Felix as well as the crowd. She even avoided teachers, she felt so small out of a sudden and she wanted to hide herself. She hated the anxious and alarmed feelings she had the whole day, it was making her uncomfortable as she was clearly not being herself.

As the last bell rang, she felt relieved. It was her chance to escape the nosy reality at the moment. Luckily, tomorrow was a weekend, she had two days to escape the talk of people and to enough time to hide herself from being seen. At least she won't listen to them talking shit about her.
Sadly, she had to walk alone as Sunmi had extra classes. And so, she did brace herself walking through the hallways as she listened to the students talk around her. Some even called her names, but it never effect her since those names were too old to use against her. They were running out of insults, how sad.
Upon reaching the corner on the street towards her home, she was pulled harshly and pinned against the wall. Nara groaned and opened her eyes to see who it was. She was surprised to see Jungyeon grabbing on her collar, her eyes were full of disgust mixed with anger.
"Bitch, what the fuck are you planning?" She spat. Nara was confused, but she wasn't going to ask nicely. She kicked the girl in her stomach, releasing her grip on her collar as she tried to make a run. However, Nara failed when someone else pulled her hair.
"First, you ditched us when we were caught smoking. Then you took all the money from the game. Now, you're trying to date Felix for money. Wow, how much of a slut—"
"Save your shit, I'm not dating anyone." Nara hissed. She held her fists outward, ready to punch anyone in her way. She caught Jihyo signalling to the two girls to get her. Nara grinned and prepared herself. As they charged forward, she kicked Nayeon right in the stomach as she grabbed Jungyeon's neck to throw her to the other side.
Nayeon was sent to the ground but Nara was punched by Jungyeon right in the face. She almost laughed seeing how pitiful they were in combat. Nara glanced at Jungyeon as she tried to go for another punch but was too slow. She then twisted her wrist and kneed her in the stomach. She walked towards Jihyo, ready to send her fist right to her face when someone grabbed her hand from the back. Nara sent her other fist to the person behind, only to have it caught as well.
She looked up and met eyes with Felix once again. Her eyes softened, but it was short enough for her to retreat herself from his touch. The three girls took this opportunity to run from Nara. The feisty wanted to chase after them but Felix grabbed on her wrist instead.
"Stop following me!" Nara growled, pulling away from his touch. However, as angry as she was feeling at the moment, she couldn't bring herself to look at Felix. She was shy, every time she looked at him now she would be reminded of the kiss.
It was an irritating feeling and she hated it that he had to be the one to cause it. "You're bleeding." Felix said, placing one hand on her cheek. Nara retreated from his touch and kept her gaze on the road. "I'm leaving, don't follow me." She said instead.
"Nara," he grabbed her wrist again, making her face him. Nara could've sworn her heart almost stopped when their eyes met. She wanted to erase the kiss from her head so much. "Please stop doing this." He said. Sincere was obvious in his eyes, her heart skipped a beat. He was being honest just like at the rooftop.
"I meant it. I want you to get the scholarship." He continued. "You don't stand the same level as them, you're much more precious than that. Please, don't blow this chance off. You're closer than ever to achieve your dreams, I can't cover for you all the time. Just stop this." He held her hand with his bandaged palm as he brought his other hand to her lips, wiping the blood.
Nara winced a little as it was painful but she hadn't notice the pain until just now. "I-I have to go." Nara said, breaking the eye contact with him. She was awfully disturbed with the fact her heart was beating so fast. It was crazy.
"Let's make a deal."
Felix's statement made her stop on her tracks. She turned around to look at him. "What did you say?" She asked. Nara was filled with curiosity, Felix was the type to have a lot of plans in his head. It was a good thing but also bad at the same time.
"If you can score higher than me for finals, I won't bother you anymore. And the scholarship is yours."
