Someone clearing their throat brought me out of the world written on the pages. "Are you hungry?" I had to blink a few times to get rid of the blurry vision from reading so long. My stomach had also decided to make itself know. I must be hungry. My stomach rarely growls as I always make sure to eat. That was one of the good things about having a metabolism as fast as a jet! You burned all those calories within a few hours.

Tyler extended his hand to help me get up. I shyly accepted his offer. As he led me from his office I saw out of the window that it was already dark out. "What time is it?"

"It's almost midnight." MY eyes bugged. Was I reading that long? I am used to staying up late but I was usually asleep by eleven. We got to the kitchen and he directed me to a chair before he got ingredient to make a full meal. He can cook?!?!

This was every girl's dream! A man that can cook but the question now is, is it edible? I know Red can cook and his food was amazing so I was assuming it was the same for Tyler but  the result would ultimately lay when I took the first bite.

My mouth was watering at the flavors that drifted to my nose. If it smelled this good it must taste even better but that was most likely my stomach talking. When he was done he had put a plate in front of me with a rather large piece of meat with some veggies.

I usually liked my stakes medium to well done so when I cut into it I saw it was medium rare. I wanted to cringe but forced myself to cut off a piece and ate it. It was melting in my mouth like butter. I was never going to make steaks myself again. If I wanted one I was going to politely force him to make it for me.

The flavors that danced around my mouth were swoon-worthy and I almost let a moan slip from my mouth. I ate the rest of my dinner at a slow pace not wanting savor it.

Nothing was said while we ate. He stared at me the entire time while he ate. In fact I always felt his eyes on me whenever we were in close proximity. The constant staring had my insecurities screaming at me and my imperfections namely the large scar across my back came to mind.

The food soon disappeared from my plate. I stared at the plate would magically fill itself up again. He grabbed the plate to clean it. "Would you like to stay the night?" That question sent my heart into overdrive. I shook my head. "No. I have animals that need my attention at home." I came up with the excuse.

Not that it wasn't true but if my heart didn't get a break I was going to get a heart attack. He accepted my pathetic excuse and let me leave. I had come with Sasha the previous morning so as soon as I hit the woods I took off in a run to get home.

It has been a long time that I have been on holiday so when Sasha told me about the trip we were going to have I started squealing like a teenager.  I packed my throughout the week and then left it with Sasha the day before we flew out. I made sure that all of my work was done before Sasha could drag me out of the building since I couldn't finish it over the weekend.

I had picked up a brochure of the resort we were going to too see what all the fuss was all about. It had plenty of activities with the crystal clear waters. "Fun fact about the resort. Tyler and Red owns it." Sasha said next to me. "Really?"

"Yip. They inherited the island when their father stepped down and a few years later they started the resort. That is one of the ways they make their money. They have a few hotels and resorts across the country."

"So they are known as millionaires in the human world?" I was so surprised at the information. I never thought of how they made their money only that they were rich. I guess my default guess was that they inherited it when they got crowned. "Nope" she popped the p and a massive smile spread across her face. "They are known as billionaires and we get to stay at any given place for free!"  My jaw just about hit the floor! There was a lot I still had to learn about them. It also explained some of the paper work Tyler was always busy with. I processed the information and planned the activities for once we got there.
