Chapter 7

Warrens pov:

I sighed to myself as i span my pencil around in my fingers, why couldn't I get Nathan out of my head. Its like last night was something magical but it wasn't, we just went to see a movie together its not like it was a date or something.

I almost jumped out of my skin when someone grabbed my shoulder, i looked up into the happy eyes of Mr. Jefferson. Nathan was awkwardly watching and when I looked over at him, he looked away. "Warren can i speak to you in my classroom quickly, it will only take a minute" He looked like he had something to tell me, i nodded and followed him out of the classroom.

As we walked into the classroom, I noticed Kate walk out of the door. Her eyes were red like she had been crying for days, I didn't have time to speak to her as Jefferson had ushered me in. He told me to take a seat wherever and i did so, he sat atop the table and stared down at me.

"Warren have you ever considered modelling?" He asked and i frowned, me a model. He must be crazy, a nerdy model would never work but if i was getting paid maybe i would because i do need a new computer.

"Will i be getting paid?" I asked and then quickly stammered out, "Hypothetically i mean.".

Jefferson laughed and patted me on the shoulder, nodding. i smiled, if i could get my new computer by this week it would be amazing. I stared at Jefferson who stared back with just as much anticipation as i had bottled up inside.

"I'll do it." I smiled widely and he nodded standing up, muttering at how perfect I'd look in a certain light. I stood up but when Jefferson turned round he  had already gotten his camera.

"Just a quick headshot." He said as i nodded, smiling slightly. He quickly snapped a picture and smiled at it, nodding for me to go back to class.

I quickly headed back to my class, i was so happy i had been offered a job but slightly in the back of my mind i wondered where he had gotten the whole idea of me being a model from.
