Prompt from DarkHorse66 on wattpad- Could you do a one shot where Zayn is Vampire and Niall finds out. Zayn abandons Niall to keep him safe from Zayn. 1 week later Niall is attacked and nearly dies. Zayn comes back sees Niall's limp body and has no choice but change Niall to a Vampire. Zayn cries in happiness and kisses Niall. ( They r together at the start)

Niall's Pov:

I knew there was something different about Zayn the first moment I met him. He wasn't like other people. He kept himself hidden away in the shadows. Avoided being near or touching other people. Zayn was different and I wanted nothing more then to find out why, To be close to him. When we had our first conversation I wasn't expecting to be so drawn in by him. He had this look in his eyes, A look that made you wanna be close to him, Made you stay even when you was hesitant about it. I fell inlove with him, I feel deeply inlove with him, And he fell for me too. Neither of us thought it would happen, Neither of us suspected it, But no matter how hard we tried we couldn't stay away from eachother. Zayn had this protection over me, It was like nothing I'd ever seen before. If somebody did or said anything to hurt me, His once soft eyes would fill with hate and anger, He was uncontrollable to everyone but me. I soon learned why I was so drawn in by him, Why he was so resistant at first. Zayn was a vampire. At first I was shocked, I was afraid, But in Zayn's eyes I could see he'd never hurt me, He'd never wish any harm to come to me, Or so I thought. He said he loved me, He said he'd never leave me, But that's exactly what he's doing.

"I don't, I don't understand, Why? Why'd you have to leave?" I questioned, Zayn looked away from me.

"I can't explain it to you right now, You just have to know I can't stay here" Zayn stated.

"But why? Is it me? Did I do something wrong? I haven't told anybody about you Zayn, I wouldn't do that to you" I exclaimed.

"I know, I know you wouldn't, I know you haven't. Niall this isin't about you, It's not your fault you haven't done anything wrong. I just, I can't be here anymore. I have to go" Zayn said, I shook my head as tears fell from my eyes. 

"I don't understand, You, You told me you loved me Zayn" I chocked out.

"I do, I do love you" Zayn took hold of my hands. 

"Then don't leave me" I pleaded, Zayn slowly wiped away my tears.

"It's because I love you that I have to leave. Niall please don't make this any harder" Zayn kissed my forehead. "Just remember I'll always be just behind you, Wherever you are I'll be close by. I love you so much Niall" And with that he was gone, As if blown away by the strong wind, He was just gone. 

A week passed and my world was still a cold place. Everyday I awoke with the same pain, The same questions, The same ache inside my heart that nobody could see. I don't understand, I don't understand any of this. Why would he leave me? What couldn't he tell me? What happened that made him feel like he had to leave me behind? I've been keeping my distance from the world, I feel as though everyone knows what happened, Everyone knows the person I love left me behind. It feels like Zayn was never here, There's no traces of him anymore. The only time I left the shelter of my home was at night, I'd walk the empty dark streets with my head down. It was while walking those streets my life changed. I heard footsteps behind me, I didn't bother to turn around. I felt a pair of hands cover my mouth, Another person grabbed my legs, I tried to scream out but the hand around my mouth tightened. Everything happened so fast, I felt pain all over my body as I was thrown around like a piece of meat. I could hear my bones being physically snapped as my body collided with the concrete. 

"Pl-Please st-stop" I chocked out, I could taste blood inside my mouth. 

"Finish him off" A almighty scream of pain fell from my lips. Everything began moving in slow motion, I was gasping for breath, My vision was blurring, Slowly my world began losing colour. 

Zayn's Pov:

Niall was in danger. I could hear his screams inside my head. I glided through the night as fast as I could possibly go. I could no longer hear his screams, I could barely feel his heartbeat. I followed the faint sound of Niall's heart until the strong smell of blood filled my nostrils, I was close. I kept to the shadows desperately trying to reach him. The smell of blood became even stronger as I approached a alleyway, I turned the corner and there laid out on the ground was Niall. 

"Niall" I chocked out quickly taking him in my arms, Niall looked up at me with heavy eyes, The life was leaving his body, I could feel it. Niall tried to speak but I shook my head. "Don't, Don't say anything. I won't let you die Niall, I can't let you die" Tears filled my eyes. "I'll make you better again, I'll make it all ok" I lowered my head to Niall's neck. "I'm sorry" I whispered before biting down hard. I never wanted this for Niall. I slowly withdrew from Niall's flesh, Venom was spreading through his body, Soon he'd be like me. I didn't know if he'd hate me for it, But I couldn't lose him. Minutes passed before Niall's eyes shot open, I could no longer feel his heartbeat, His flesh was no longer warm, No blood ran through his veins. 

"Zayn?" Niall questioned.

"Niall, I thought, I thought I'd lost you" I chocked out as I pulled Niall against my chest, I pressed kisses to his forehead. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Niall" 

"What's, What's happened to me?" Niall asked.

"Yo-You got attacked, You were dying Niall. I didn't have a choice Niall, I couldn't let you die" I exclaimed.

"You changed me? You made me like you?" I slowly nodded. "I thought you didn't want me, Why would you do this?" Niall stated.

"Because I couldn't lose you. I couldn't let you die Niall. Leaving you was the hardest thing I ever had to do, But I had to do it. You were safer that way. I thought I was doing the best thing for you" I exclaimed.

"The best thing for me would have been you staying" Niall cried out. "You left me behind Zayn" He whispered, I shook my head. 

"No, No I didn't. I was always close behind you Niall. I felt every emotion you felt" I said. "How could I leave you when I love you? I stayed far enough away so you wouldn't be harmed, But close enough to feel you. I love you" I stated, Niall smiled as he moved towards me, Our bodies collided with the wall, I chuckled.

"Sorry" Niall whispered.

"You got alot to learn" I said, Niall nodded his head and we embraced in a tight hug. 

"Never leave me again" Niall whispered into my ear, I shook my head.

"Never, We have eternity together Niall" I assured him before pressing my lips against his.
