"How could you invite Krivina to the hearing?!" I see my dad angrily question Alite.

"She has a right to know the charges against her slave. Besides she came alone." Alite replies calmly.

"Have you forgotten what the demonic sister's are capable of? They're not weak fledglings!" My dad argues back.

"Silence!"

"No! You have no right to push my family away from my any longer! That's my daughter damn it!!"

"You wouldn't dare cross me Harvy. You're scared of me. Just like you were scared the night your wife died. You're nothing without the Commune. Now once again I will have to clean up the mess you made. Not only did you put your life at stake, but you also put my nephew on the judgement. I pitty you more than him. His soul's already damned."

"Noah! Noah wake up you're having a bad dream!!" I hear Noelle's voice call out. My eye lids fly open.

"What happened?" I ask suddenly feeling a sorish ache burn in my bones. I shiver.

"You were screaming...." She says softly. "I thought you were having a nightmare."

"No. I don't remember screaming at them.." I go silent.

She stares at me curiously. "Them?... You saw you're family again?" "Ya.." I choke. "They're at my hearing. They invited Krivina." Noelle's eyes go blank. "They couldn't hear you? Could they?" Her voice loses it's charm. "She's blocking the communication between you and your dad. They're letting her, on purpose."

"Why would they do that?"

"Because you want your Father to find you as much as He wants you to be found. The commune is breaking the bond." I stare out the french doors.

"Someone cooking?"

"Avalon prepared a meal. Listen Noah, I want to help you get to your family but there's only so much I can do. Avalon has strict rules about outside contact..."

"No.. something's burning." I interrupt whiffing the air suddenly I no longer smelled just the smoke aroma, I smelt anger. I smelt fear. I smelt... vampire.

"What are you talking about?"

"Someone's found us." I jump out of bed and rushed to the french doors throwing them open.

"Morning sunshine, how was your ressst?" A slender red head smiles at me showing her fresh blood dipped in fangs. The garden was begining to slowly burn and light.

"It's a shame my brother isn't here to join us, Lucard was a pyromaniac himself. He loved burning down things after a fresh meal."

"Lucard?" I feel my eyes grow big but than settle on her. She was still a fledgeling with white eyes in wonder but filled with distaste. She was still nearly mortal.

"You seem a little shaken sweet wolf child. Did he not speak of me?"

"I am a little surprised... I thought your kind only focused on themselves."

"Oh you'd be surprised what the Commune can hide from you, but I guess you've figured that out now." She turns her gaze on Noelle. I block her view. She frowns. "Protective of your new pack?"

"She's a friend." I growl. "No.. No.. She's a pack member. Someone you control. Look at her. She's ready to flee away,  but she won't leave you here.. No she won't move till you demaned her to." I turn to look at Noelle who has her eyes squeezed tight. I hear the vampire laugh.

"And look here! Another member?" She turns to the black wolf growling fiercly.  It's Seth. He barks at Noelle who shifts still keeping her ground and her eyes shut tight. He barks louder and she swiftly swifts back darts away into the house.
