"I demand answers!" I slammed my hands down on the metal table, creating a small crack in the middle. I gave the now awake and fully aware rogue the most penetrating glare I could ever create.

His eyebrows twitched and he chuckled darkly at me. "I don't have to give you anything." He said.

"And I don't have to keep you alive, now I want information." I was growing more and more frustrated by the minute, and his nonchalant attitude was not helping anyone.

"Sweetie. We both know that if you kill me, there will be no information. In fact, if you keep killing all of the others like me, you'll never know anything." He smirked and it made the beast inside of me grow even angrier.

I knew he was right. No matter how hard I pushed, no matter how many lives were killed, I was still getting no where. I knew just as much information as I did yesterday.

I tried to keep my emotions under control, but it was becoming harder and harder as I watched the challenge in his eyes. I could basically read everything in his facial expressions, but I couldn't piece it all together.

Why was I so important in all of this? Why did this man want me?"

"Can you at least answer one question for me?" I asked. I wasn't going to start begging on my knees, but I could at least try.

He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. His dark hair and crusty features were hard to make out in the dark cell room.

"Why can't this guy just come and get me himself? Why is he sending all of you to do his dirty work?"

His eyebrows shot up at my question and he chuckled once again. His eyes mocked me.

"Trust me, if he wanted to come and get you himself, he could've don't it a long time ago. And honey, this isn't even the dirty work." He stated, and grinned mischievously at me.

I narrowed my eyes at his comment and quickly slipped out of the room before my anger and confusion caused a disaster.

Graham was waiting down the hall, leaning against the plain white walls. He frowned when he saw me.

"Get any information out of him?" He asked, although I was pretty sure he already knew the answer to that.

"No. I'm never going to get them, and it's killing me. Why me? Of all people in this damn world, why am I being hunted by some mysterious man?" I groaned. I know I wasn't necessarily ordinary by being a female Alpha and a witch, but only Carter and I knew about the witch part.

"Well Melony, all I can say is, I'll be here with you through all of this. I'll even start questioning for you if you want me to." His genuine smile helped calm some of my emotions and I pulled him into a hug.

He was stiff at first, but his arms soon came down and wrapped around me in a warm embrace. He pulled back and looked at me curiously.

"What was that for?" He laughed.

"You're such an amazing friend, and I haven't had any comfort in the last few weeks. It's nice to have a hug every once in a while." I sighed and leaned against the wall in the spot that he recently moved from.

"Oh stop Melony, you're becoming such a girl." He joked and I punched him hard in the gut.

I left Graham in the prison, where he decided to question some of the rogues for me, and he wouldn't take no for an answer.
