"We've been problems with rogues entering lately. What are the actions we are taking to resolve the issue?"

Graham, Dalton, and I were currently at a meeting with some of the top pack members. They didn't have any official authority, but they were still some of the most important ones.

"We do realize we have been having some issues. Alpha Cole will be questioning the rogues one by one." Graham responded to the old man who had asked the question earlier.

I was referred to as Alpha Cole. It was my last name, but it sounded more professional than Alpha Melony. I liked the sound of it better anyways.

"What are we going to be doing with them? We can't just keep them all stored away in the prison." Leila said.

I always made sure to include her and her brother in the pack meetings. She was the one who took me in and it was the least I could do.

"I am coming up with some options for them. We also need you all to vote. I say either let them try to join the pack or let them leave." I responded making eye contact with everyone in the room.

"How will we decide if they should be let in. What will happen if they come back?"

"They will have to go through the agility test. We only accept strong wolves into our pack. Also, we will put trackers in the ones who don't pass. If they come back, we will know and kill them once they pass over onto our territory." I explained.

"Sound good?" Dalton asked.

They all nodded and smiled.

After the pack meeting was over, I fell back onto the couch with an ice pack on my head.

"Those meetings give me the worst headaches." I groaned. "I feel like I'm being questioned about a murder."

"Yeah, well they sure do know how to pick em. Who would've thought they would come up with the most intelligent questions?" Graham laughed and chucked me some Advil.

I popped it into my mouth and sipped it down with some water.

"So, when are you going down to acknowledge the rogues?" He asked plopping down beside me.

"I'm not sure. I'll start tomorrow I guess. We can do four a day. Two for you and two for me."

"Sounds good to me." He said and turned the television on.

"I'm tired of television. I'm going out for a run." I hopped up from the couch and put my hair into a ponytail.

"Be careful." He teased. He knew nothing could harm me.

"Yeah, because the big bad wolf might eat me. Oh wait, that's me." I growled out the last part and he fell onto the floor laughing.

"I'm going to go eat some little girls!" I yelled on my way out the door and his reply was even louder laughter.

I decided to run in my wolf form since I always chose my human form over it.

I never liked the idea of being a werewolf. I always tried to get out of shifting as much as I could. I guess I wasn't fond of it because of the mate deal.

It wasn't fair that someone was chosen for us. How I wished that I could've found someone on my own. If I was human, Graham and I would probably be together.

But since I knew that would never happen, I accepted him as a friend and nothing more and nothing less.

I dodged rocks, jumped through holes, and maneuvered my way around the dark green forest. Not once did I slow down nor stop to take a break.
