Recap:

I threw the door open and gasped at what I saw.

Graham had the female rogue pushed against the wall. His lips were on her neck and his hands trailing up her thighs.

"What the hell!" I screamed and he whipped around.

"I found my mate."

I stared at Graham bewildered and flushed. He looked impatient, as in I had ruined his fun and he was determined to get back to it as soon as possible.

The female he had pushed against the wall was now back on the ground. She pulled her dress back down over her thighs and fixed her wild hair.

"Graham, I need to speak with you." I asked and gave him a look.

He groaned.

"Hallway. Now!" I ordered. His head whipped up at my alpha tone and he lowered his head, walking into the hallway.

"So what happened there?" I asked, running my hands through my hair.

After learning I was half wizard, now I see that Graham has some rogue for a mate. This couldn't have happened at a worse time. Right...

"That smell, it was her Melony. I found my mate." His face glowed with pride and honor. I was pretty sure it was his wolf shining through.

"Did you find out anything, like why she's here to be exact. How do you know that she's not here to kill me?" I was a little cautious when it came to it. She could be hiding a silver bullet in her back pocket ready to fire.

"She's my mate. She would never do that." He growled.

"How do you know Graham?"

"I don't." He whispered and leaned against the wall.

"Then let me talk to her." I said and pushed open the door and locked it behind me so he wouldn't just barge in.

The girl was now seated on the chair and was messing with her nails. She glanced up at me and sat up straighter.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

The more I looked at her, the sooner I realized she was the rogue who had crossed from the west side. The side I had run away from years ago.

"I have important information for you. " she said biting her lip and looking me in the eyes.

"Then what is it?"

"I can't tell you yet. It's not safe and I don't think you would handle it well." She choked out. Wait was she... Crying?

I raised an eyebrow at her and turned my attention to the banging on the door. He must've sensed her change of emotion. Mates can do that.

"Melony, what's going on. Let me in." He demanded, pounding with what seemed to be his life.

I stood up and marched over to the door pushing it open.

"Nothing." I said and made my way down the hall and out of the prison.

I shifted into my wolf and decided to take a run. I needed to release all of this inner emotion and confusion. This seemed to be the best way I could.

I was confused on why the rogue would come here with important information that she couldn't tell me. It seemed very unlikely and I was pretty sure the news was, ' I have to kill you.' I didn't want to take any chances.

I would discuss it with Graham and the leader team tomorrow. For now, I was tired of being in charge. Sometimes I wish I would've never been alpha. I could just depend on others and never have to deal with crap like this.

But then again, I needed this strength. It's the best feeling in the world when you know you're looked up too, and you're everybody's hero. If I hadn't have gotten that push, I don't know what would've happened to me.

I decided to stop by the stream again and test out some more of my powers. Might as well get used to them.

I sat down on a rock and thought for a moment while looking up at the stars. If I was a nature wizard, that means I could control anything that has to do with natural resources.

I looked down at the water and smirked. Well lets try this out.

Instead of using my eyes, I lifted one finger and concentrated all of my focus on moving the water. I lifted my finger up and watched a small river of water follow behind it.

I twirled it through the air almost as if I was painting. I had a smile of satisfaction until I went to put it down.

I pointed my finger back to the stream, but the water had a different route. I watched as the big pile of water came splashing down on me.

I spit some of it put of my mouth and twisted it out of my shirt. And then I laughed. Hey, it was pretty funny.

After a moment of ringing some of the water out of my clothes and hair, I started making my way back to the pack house.

When I got there the living room lights were still on. I quietly opened the door and strolled into the living room.

"Melony... What... Why are you wet?" Graham seemed to change his questions as he saw my state.

"I fell in the stream." I lied. I couldn't tell him I was using my wizard powers to wave it around in the air, no, not yet.

He laughed for a moment and shook his head gaining his cool.

"I wanted to talk to you about my mate." He sternly said.

I shook my head and put my hand up.

"Not today. Tomorrow I will hold a meeting to find out the details of what we will do with her."

"But Melony... She's my mate." He whimpered and I took a deep breath and kept going upstairs.

I felt bad for him, I mean I wanted him to be happy, but, I have to look out for my pack. I can't just focus on him. She could be a threat to me and everyone.

I couldn't trust her.
