Hank and Hope came back to Sarah, who now had her head on the table, her arms covering her eyes. Hesitantly Hope said, "Hey, Sarah."
Sarah quickly sat up and turned to look at them. Her eyes were a little red, but not very noticeable. "What do you need?"
Hank spoke this time. "Do you know where your dad shrunk?"
Sarah shook her head. "No. I was taken out of the house before he shrunk." She spoke a little quieter so Hank and Hope couldn't hear a waver in her voice. "But, Cassie did. She was in the same room and saw him."
"Well," Hope said, "guess we need to find her."
"How?" Sarah asked. "I checked security feeds on the area around the playground she disappeared in, but there were no signs of her or Darron Cross."
"Darrron Cross?" Hank inquired.
"I guess," Sarah replied, "at least, that was what showed up on facial recognition. It could be wrong, though."
Hank turned to Hope and whispered, "This is worse than I could have imagined. If Darrron figured out how to come back from going subatomic-"
"There may be no way of stopping him." Hope finished. "You're right. This is really bad."
"Why don't we just kill him?"
Both Hank and Hope turned around to Sarah. She shrugged her shoulders. "Just a thought."
Hank bent down to her. "If someone killed your father, what would you do after that? Would you just let it happen, or would you go after their family, too, putting those innocent lives in danger?"
Sarah responded, "Right, sorry." She turned back to her computer and looked over the school footage from the security cameras.
Hank and Hope turned back to each other. "Well," Hank said, "guess we need to train the kid."
"I could do it." Hope added. "If this is just a rescue op, then I can get Cassie faster than Sarah ever could in a day's training. Besides, after we find Cassie, someone is going to have to shrink down to get Scott. I won't black out as fast."
Hank paused and calmly said, "No."
Hope gave Hank a death stare. "You are going to put her life," Hope slightly pointed at Sarah, "in danger just like her father? We already lost Scott. How could you possibly think she will end up differently?"
"Because," Hank said, "You will be with her."
Hope stared, confused. "What do you mean?"
Hank shrugged. "It was what you wanted, wasn't it? I have your suit. Sarah has hers. I know you want to do this on your own. But, Sarah should be easier to train than Scott. She won't be quite as arrogant. She needs someone to lead her, so you would be with her to help her navigate and fight. Going on the mission, however, will be her decision and her decision alone. I won't pressure her to do it, so please don't pressure her not to."
Hope sighed and turned to Sarah. She looked up at the two of them and slightly smiled. "Sarah," Hope said, "get into your suit. It's time to start training."
Sarah perked up. "Really?!"
Hope sighed and nodded. Sarah bolted up and sprinted out of the room with her backpack. Hope turned back to Hank, who had just started laughing. Hope gave him a disgusted look. "What?" Hank asked. "It's funny to see her get so excited."

Sarah walked out into the hallway in her new suit. She wasn't really ready to start, but she didn't want to say that to her idol. So, she stayed silent and waited for Hank and Hope.
