"Time works differently here. I'm sure you noticed yesterday. We heard that girl yelling at you for it. Surely you must've guess it's because our front door is a connection between two dimensions: yours and ours." It was Hayoung who had spoken what I thought to be complete and utter bull crap.
"You expect me to believe that? Alternate dimensions don't exist. What are you stupid?" I crossed my arms as I voiced my complaints about their reasons.
Siwoo stood up from where he was sitting and stood beside Hyunwoo. "We don't expect you to believe it, but it's true. And it's technically not alternate dimensions. If it were that, you'd know people who looked exactly like us but behaved differently. It's more like two dimensions that are interconnected yet completely separate too. You aren't the first to wonder in here. How do you think authors came up with things like werewolves and vampires and ghosts?"
"Are you trying to tell me that you're vampires or something?" I almost snorted. They were pretty good at acting though. They seemed to actually believe what they were saying was true.
The one who looked like he was the youngest, Jisung, spoke next. "Not vampires, but close."
Hohyeon added to Jisung's answer. "I'm a wolf baby."
Did he just...call me...baby? Again, under normal circumstances, I'd be blushing over that, but I was determined not to let them get under my skin. To keep me from blushing, I let out the slight laughter I had been holding in until now. "That's really funny. Are you guys actors or something because you're being really convincing. It's great really. Let me know when Whatever movie or show you're doing this for airs and I'll definitely watch it."
"We're not acting. We're wolves. You know, howling at the moon stereotype. Really hairy according to media." Wooyeop spoke almost scarily seriously. "Ah...What was that highly overrated movies humans used to be obsessed with...?"
Siwoo started listing off suggestions. "The Wolfman? The Howling? Ah! Ah! Twilight!"
I started laughing again. "This is funny. Really, but seriously: who are you guys?"
"We already told you. We're wolves." Hayoung stood up as his eyes shifted between yellow and brown. The shift in his eye color made me stagger. That shouldn't be possible. Were they...telling the truth? Impossible! Werewolves don't exist.
"I don't believe this. Werewolves. Don't. Exist. Never have never will." I stormed out of the mansion in disbelief, fear settling in as I came outside.
Suyung was standing outside wearing the same thing as yesterday, practically screaming when I came out. Asking why it took so long. I again explained that I hadn't been in there long and asked why she was wearing the same thing as yesterday.
Suyung almost yelled again. "Y/N-ah! What's wrong with you?! You were in there for like two hours! Your parents keep calling me! And what are you talking about? I haven't worn this outfit for almost a month! What happened in there?"
A month?...did I just...GO BACK IN TIME?!
