Once my father was defeated, the wall of fog around the boys dissipated. Let's just say that they were a bit flabbergasted about what they were seeing. I can't blame them. I felt the same way when a similar situation happened to me. Once everyone had been ushered inside, we explained what had happened, which didn't really help with their surprise.
Taeseon was the first to recover from the shock. "So let me get this straight, our little y/n, Samuel, and the sister they just met time traveled so that the new sister could double cross their dad?"
"Well...when you put it like that..." I was at a loss for words at Taeseon's summary of our story. It wasn't inaccurate, but still...Wow. That happened. Just a few months ago, I was just a normal high school girl. Now I'm surrounded by werewolves, a vampire, my half-goblin-half-angel brother and half-goblin-half-witch sister who were born at the same time as me, and my half-werewolf-half-fairy best friend. A lot has changed. I've literally watched almost everyone I love die then rewinded time to bring them back to life. Not everyday that that happens. "I also got my real memories back. Well, at least most of them. I still don't remember dating Minsu or any of the other guys."
"That romance stuff isn't really that important. What's important now is that you three just beat the man who made Y/N have to move to another dimension." It was Jihun that spoke, and he had a point. Everyone murmured in agreement as we slowly started continuing on with our day. What else would you do after something like that? The aftermath once you've won is a lot more awkward than you probably realize.
Anyway, once everyone dispersed and went to do their own thing or whatever else, Jisung approached me. "Hey, y/n. I'm not sure if you knew this about me, but I like to write lyrics. Do you think you could look over some of the recent ones I wrote and tell me what you think?"
The shy way he asked made it impossible to say no. He was just too cute, and his face when I said that I would made my day. He was really a cute person.
He lead me up to his room where he brought out his songbook, turning to the page he wanted to show me. As I read them, I noticed something: this was a love song. Did he like someone? "Hey, Jisung, who are these lyrics ab—"
I was turning my face too look at him as I asked the question, but was soon interrupted by his lips on mine.
~~~~~Years Later~~~~~
Jisung and I got married a year ago. We just recently had our first "pup" as Jisung calls him. I get that he's half wolf, but why do we have to call him a pup? He's also a fourth fairy and sylph. I couldn't really get mad at him for it though. As soon as I saw him with our son, my heart would melt. Jisung, who was naturally playful, would always try to play with our "pup," talking about how he would take him hunting when he got older.
You know how you can tell by someone's eyes how much they love someone? Jisung loves his son more than he loves his wife. He would complain when I tried to hold him, worried that I would have a momentary lapse of clumsiness and hurt him. I don't know who's more of a handful. Jisung or the baby.
I decided to do something a bit different with this one. What do you think of the pup idea?
You know, there's a benefit to these chapters being so short: I can finish them faster. Anyway, next one will be up soon. Love y'all.
