The Guest

I just nodded, and as if by cue, Jihun appeared at the doorway. "We have a guest."

Hakmin and I got up and followed the older boy downstairs. When we got there, we were greeted by what I would describe as a very attractive man surrounded by nine other men, seeming to be very skeptical of the new man in the midst.

When the guy saw me, his serious almost threatening expression turned to a smile. "You're y/n, right? I'm Minsu. Your grandmother sent me to help you with the...uh...prophecy thing."

"Prophecy...thing? I didn't realize hybrids could do that too. Why didn't you tell us, y/n?" Hayoung moved next to me, placing an arm across my shoulders as he leaned down so we were eye level.

"I didn't really know it was a prophecy until last night when my grandmother came to me in a dream. I thought it was just a nightmare." I laughed awkwardly, not wanting to make eye contact with the tall boy with his arm around my shoulders.

"Nightmare? What happened in this prophecy?" It was Hohyeon that asked. I took a deep breath. I didn't really want to tell them that I prophesied about their death, but they deserved to know especially now that they knew that I had seen a prophecy.

Luckily, the Minsu guy answered for me. "She had a prophecy in which all ten of you little wolves would die fighting against the guy that's after my y/n."

"Your y/n? As far as I am aware, she is not your property. I bet she doesn't even remember your face or your name, Park Minsu." Hyunwoo had stepped in front of me as soon as Minsu called me "his."

"I don't see where that matters. If I remember correctly, we never actually broke up before we left, so...you get what I'm saying." The Minsu guy had the slightest smirk as he spoke to Hyunwoo.

I stepped out from behind Hyunwoo slightly. "What do you mean that 'we never actually broke up'? Were we dating or something?"

Minsu nodded. "We were in middle school. We didn't think you'd be gone that long then. We thought it'd only be for a short vacation, but you never came back. I guess your memory was altered somehow. I'm not sure, but I do know that we were dating when you left and that you never came back."

So...I dated one of the ten wolves, and never broke up with Minsu, whom I don't even know what species he is...Did someone really alter my memory? Who would do that? Why?

As I was contemplating this, one of the boys was acting very hostile towards the guest...

Hey guys! I feel like a lot was revealed this chapter...If y'all are confused about the timeline with y/n's love life, remember that time works differently in their dimension and they aren't human, so things work different for them than for us, especially for the other members.

Anyway, I have a lot planned to come. The plot is finally starting to escalate. Stay tuned for even more surprises.
