WHO AM I to you?

The Plan

I closed my eyes, processing what he said. "Why me? Out of everyone in this dimension, why me? Who am I to this world? Who am I to that man? Why did he act like we had some sort of really important relationship?"

Jihun sighed again, turning to talk to the other boys. "Guys, I don't think we can push off telling her the truth anymore. We need to tell her now. Someone go get Samuel."

Taeseon was the one to go get Samuel. Even when he came back, everyone was silent for a moment. After what felt like forever, someone finally spoke.

"I'm guessing that Taeseon called me in here because none of you want to be the one to break the news to her?" Samuel sighed. "I guess I will. Y/N, we're half siblings. Our dad, the one that's after you and now me since I'm here, cheated on both of our moms. I don't know all the technicals of it, but we were born at the same time on the same day. Supposedly, there's another one too, but we don't know who they are. Our dad knows though, which is bad."

It was silent for a moment again as I let what he said settle in. Honestly, I was surprised that I wasn't freaking out. I guess I kinda expected something like that. Maybe it was sylph in me. "Why does he care so much about getting us? I get that we're his kids, but he doesn't act like he cares about us at all."

Samuel bit his lip. "I think he cares about us to an extent, but more than that, he cares about power more than us. When three kids with different mothers and the same father are born simultaneously like we were, if we're together, we have twice as much power as when we're apart. Dad wants that. I had no choice but to stay with him because my mom died when I was too young to live on my own, so that meant he only needed two more. He probably already found the third and has him or her under his control, which would explain why he's after us so bad."

I leaned forward, pinching the bridge of my nose as my elbows rested on my knees. "I can feel that he's almost here, probably planning to attack at night. What's the likelihood that if he has found our other sibling, that they'll be with him? I'm not strong enough in my abilities to fight yet, but if they are..."

"We'll be at a standstill. Can you tell how many people are coming?" It was Taeseon that spoke.

I shook my head. "I can only tell that he's coming. I already told you, I haven't regained strength in my abilities. The only one that isn't hazy is prophecy, and I can't control when it happens. Not to mention it's only happened once when I was awake."

Jihun, who had always been the level-headed one as I've seen it, asked the million dollar question. "So do we have a plan?"

Another moment of silence until finally, someone thought of an idea. Upon his epiphany,  Kangmin spoke up. "The ten of us could distract your dad and whoever else shows up so you two can try to reason with the other sibling. That's assuming they are coming too."

We all nodded in agreement, though I was a bit worried about it due to my visions. In the middle of the night, we were all awoke by a bright light outside. We all ran outside where we saw my dad, about ten other people, and someone that I recognized without ever meeting: our sister.

Hey guys! So so sorry for the cliffhanger. I've actually been doing a lot of writing recently. I wrote something for one of my exams, updated on Wattpad, and finished the melody for a song I've been working on. I feel accomplished. Anyway, the girl in the picture is the sister. I'll add her to the cast when I get to a computer instead of my phone.
