She was finally alone with Manik. Though she was heartbroken she knew that indeed everything was on the right track now. Manik was, is and will always be her first love. But that doesn't mean that she would get her happily ever after with him.

Manik had always been her safe harbour and her best friend whom she had always cherished and loved. Even in the future, Manik will always be there for her. However, the only difference will be that now he will only be a part of her life and not her entire life.

He was the centre of her personal universe for so long but now she needs to create a new universe altogether in which Manik will only be one of that heavenly body that will revolve around her world like many other friends of her.

Though he had been nothing but extremely careful, loving and supportive of her in the past couple of days unfortunately that wasn't helping her in any way anymore.

She was in pain and she was on the edge of losing it. She doesn't want to break in front of her friends and Manik because it will only make things worse. She knew that Manik would blame himself for her condition and it might end up breaking Fab5 apart.

She needs to be alone for a while to assemble her scattered thoughts, emotions and feelings. She wants time to nurse her broken heart back. And she needs to do this all alone.

So she needs to leave as of now and that's why she waited for this moment where she could be alone with Manik so that she could inform him about her decision. She knew how he would react but she had already made up her mind and she now stands firmly on the ground of her decision.

Since she was alone with Manik as rest of her friends were busy with the assignment that Raghav Sir gave them in the last class so she took the opportunity to clear everything straight with Manik before her departure.

Manik was tuning his guitar when she finally mustered up the courage to talk to him. "Manik can I say something.." her voice was nothing more than a mere whisper.

Manik smiled as he casually replied without looking up at her while he continues to work on his guitar. "Since when you need my permission to say anything to me, Alia. You can say anything to me anytime. Don't you know that."

His words shocked her as she realised that this was going to be way more difficult than she imagined. But she still chose to be honest with him.

Nothing was the same between them any more. And it was the correct time to address the elephant in the room. She shifted her weight from one leg to another as she begins once again "Actually the thing is.." She sighed and finally said the words out loud "
..since everything is different now na..so I thought.."

Finally, her words caught his attention and made stops in his track. When he looked back at her he panicked as he witnesses that her face was ashen while tears were streaming down her eyes as she looked anywhere but him.

He instantly stopped everything and keeping his guitar on the table immediately rushed to her. Cupping her face he wiped her tears away "Alia..please don't.."

She thought she could do this but now she realised how weak she was. One sentence from him and her will power crumbled into dust. Her heart surrendered to the pain and she broke down in front of him.

She begins to tremble but before she could fall on the ground Manik took her into his embrace and begin patting her back and trying everything to soothe her pain. "Alia what happened. Please tell me." He was worried now. "You are scaring me now.."

"I am sorry Manik.."Alia finally spoke while Manik continued to hold her in his embrace. "..but I can't be part of Fab5 anymore.."

The moment she uttered those words his hands stopped on her back which made Alia apprehensive. Breaking the hug she looked at him and said "..I can't do this Manik...I just can't.."Manik didn't say anything rather he continued to look at her with wide eyes.
