Nandini sat up shaking her head "I know that you might think that I am overthinking..but..still it doesn't change the fact that I indeed feel this..and honestly I hate myself for this.."she looked at him and continued "..Manik I know ki i am being too old school..but I can't help it Manik.."she finally looked down.

And the next moment she found him taking her hand in his and entwining them together. Though she didn't look up but she knew that he was looking at her. "Nandini..look at he me.."

Sighing she looked at him only to find him smiling lightly which confused her "tum smile kyu kar rahe ho..I haven't cracked a joke..have I.."

"I know you haven't..but..the way you are complaining it's just too cute.."his reference only confused her "What..cute.."

He nodded his head in positive. "Aur nahi toh Kya..look at you..I mean here you are saying that you need time to be my "official girlfriend"..but the way you are talking..you are sounding more like my wife than girlfriend."he winked at her earning a tight slap across his shoulder from her. "SHUT UP MANIK.."

"Arey what Shut up..I am just stating the obvious.."he replied too innocently. He could see that Nandini was about to say something when he spoke "..Nandini I know where you are coming from..because honestly..even I have my own reasons because of which I am pushing you for an answer.."

"Jealousy factor.."Nandini raised her eyebrows as she said the words out loud. "You are insecure to see me with other guys..aren't you."

Manik simply nodded as he was expecting this. He knew his face was like an open book to read when it comes to her. She knows him way to well much to his inconvenience.

Of course she had noticed his expressions when she was being pampered by her own set of friends who happened to be guys and it wouldn't have been so difficult for her to guess that indeed they will be soon having a conversation about it.

"So you knew all along that you were about to get kidnapped.."Manik asked too casually.

"Not exactly.."even Nandini replied too casually. "..I knew you would do something very soon but this soon..aur woh bhi aise..this wasn't expected.."she freed her hand from his and pulled his cheeks "..but yes I was expecting something from you..and honestly you managed to surpass my expectations..good job Manik."saying this she once again lie down watching the stars.

Sighing and smiling a little even he lie back next to her. So taking the first opportunity Nandini asked "Waise I have a question for you.."

"What.."Manik asked curiously.

"Aryaman ya Madhyam..kissey tum zyada jealous ho.."she raised her eyebrows.

"Madhyam.."Manik answer too quickly much to Nandini's amusement. "Why him..any specific reason.."

"Because it seems he is way too overprotective of you..and you only said sometime back na that you think Madhyam would be better..honestly even i agree with that..truth to be told he is your Male version.."before Manik could say something more Nandini cut him off
"Just like you and Mukti..right.."

Manik's facial expressions changed in a second as he understood what she was referring to.

When he didn't say anything Nandini continued "Bolo na Manik..even you and Mukti are so alike..in fact she is your female version..and even you two are way too overprotective about each other..so does that mean..you two are.."Nandini couldn't finished as Manik yelled "What nonsense Nandini..of course not..it can never be like that between us..never.."

"..and that's exactly why nothing can ever happen between me and Madhyam. Just like Mukti is your 3 A.M.friend..Madhyam is mine..yes he is very possessive of me..but only as a friend. I have never seen anything wrong or cheap in his eyes for me just like you can never look at Mukti with wrong intentions."

"Just like your and Mukti's friendship even mine and Madhyam's friendship is pure Manik..we are best of friends..like you and Mukti..that's about it."Nandini replied so firmly that there wasn't any scope left for any doubt in his heart anymore.

"By the way I am shocked that you didn't picked Aryaman.."Nandini decide to tease him. "..he was the one hug me and you ended up choosing Madhyam instead may I know the reason"though Nandini initiated it but now she was really curious.

"I don't know but honestly he doesn't look like a threat to me.."Manik shrugged off to which Nandini replied "Appearance can be deceptive Mr.Malhotra.."

"I know that very well Miss.Murthy but somehow I feel that for him you are his little sister whom he adore way too much."Nandini was surprised at Manik's explanation. "Why do I get this feeling that you have a thing for Aryaman.."

Nandini's words only made him smile even more. "Has Kya rahe ho..I am seriously serious..baat toh tum aise kar rahe ho jaise wo tumhari janeman ho..you know the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE—DEVIKA..types.."

"Manik you sure na you don't have hots for Aryaman.."Nandini eyes widened as she ask this question to him.

"Karna Kya hai.."Nandini finally control her laughter that was threatening to break out and replied coolly "..tum dono ko happily ever after ki wish dekar bidai kar dungi..you guys mean so much to me na that I will do anything to protect your love.."

"Sacchi.."Manik asked dramatically to which Nandini replied with equal dramatic expressions "..Mucchi.."

And the next moment they both burst out laughing.
