Finally, the night passed and morning peeped into his room through the window. Manik who was awake all night finally got up from his bed and went to his room's washroom to freshen up.

After five minutes he picked up the cell from the corner of his bed where he threw it last night and switched it on.

Within the next few moments, his phone was flooded with messages from his friends that they must have sent last night. They have messaged him this morning as well.

He texted them back at asked them to gather at Mukti's place as he needed to discuss something with them urgently.

When all agreed he simply slumped back into the bed and closing his breathed heavily calming his nerves down. "I know I should have spoken to you first Alia before telling it to anyone. However, I know how much I am going to hurt you in the next few couples of hours and you will need Fab5. I don't know whether you will even forgive me or not but I will do my best to be there for you as your best friend. And I will be there for you if you truly need me."

"Apart from that Fab5 needs to know what's actually going on as well. I hope you all will understand me and would try to see the whole situation from my perspective as well."

Though he was scared he knew that this was the right thing to do. Yes, he knew there was a chance that he might end up losing his friend forever but still he chose to go ahead with the truth as it was the right thing to do.

He reached Mukti's place where his Fab5 was waiting for him. He could see they all had the same question in their eyes as soon as he enters the room.

Finally, Mukti couldn't take the suspense anymore. "Manik what's going on. What's wrong"

"I want to correct the wrong Mukti that's why I asked you all to be present here." When he looked at Alia at that moment she knew that the moment she was dreading, which she hopes would never come is, unfortunately, staring at her face right now.
However, unlike last night, she wasn't nervous or apprehensive.

She knew from a very long time that this time would come one or the other day maybe that's why she was ready when the D-Day was finally here.

She had to not only face it but she will gladly accept the decision of the fate which was quite crystal clear and was now clearly visible in Manik's eyes.

..that Alia and Manik weren't destined to be together.

Of course, she knew this from a very long time but guess her heart didn't want to accept it as it still wanted to live in the delusion that Manik Malhotra loved her as well.

However, now the time has finally arrived when she needs to accept the truth which Manik spoke out loud just the very next moment.

"I can't hurt Alia anymore by giving her false hope as the reality is that for me Alia is extremely precious as my best friend but unfortunately we aren't meant to be."

His words shocked everyone who was present in the room except Alia who finally was ready to accept the biggest truth of her life.

Mukti rushed and stood next to Alia "Manik what are..'

But before she could finish Manik spoke: "Mukti please let me finish.." His words not only stopped her but the rest of the Fab5 in their tracks as well. Turning his attention back to Alia he continued."Alia, I know you love me and trust me I love you too but I am not in love with you Alia. I never had but I know you are."

"We have been together for seven years Alia but I know this that I have never given you the love and attention that you truly deserve.."moving towards her he stood right in front of her "..you deserve the best Alia." cupping her face he continued "You deserve to be adored and pampered You deserve to be with someone who truly understands your value, respects you and love you for what you are."
