"Good night Nandini.."saying this Manik was about to leave when Nandini stopped him.

Her sudden action surprised him. "Kya hua.."Manik was worried now. "..kuch kahna hai Nandini.."

Nandini didn't say a word as she continue to stare at him which made him nervous. "Nandini..you are scaring me now..Kya hua..please bolo na.."

Nandini still didn't say anything rather she did something..

...taking few steps towards him she covered the distance between them and cupped his face in her hands.

Leaning in she planted a kiss on his forehead..

...sending shockwaves down his spine.

However before he could get over that once again Nandini leaned in only to plant a soft kiss on his cheeks causing his heart to skip a beat.

Since he wasn't ready for her sudden attack it took a toll on his reflexes and he ended up closing his eyes.

She was standing so close to him that he not only could feel her breath fanning his face but he could literally hear her heartbeat.

Nandini leaned away while Manik's eyes were still close "Thank you for this beautiful night Manik..it would be always be special for me.."

Though her words were mere whisper but it was more than enough for Manik to hear.

He opened her eyes only to find her looking back at him with unnamed emotions in her eyes.

Few strands of hair were on her face so removing those with his hand he cupped her face this time and pulled her closer.

Nandini's eyes too got closed as soon as she felt his touch.

Leaning in he simply planted a soft kiss on her forehead which was more than enough to raise the pace of her heartbeat.
