"..yaar yeh kuch bol kyu nahi rahi hai.."Manik was worried now as it has been more than 20 minutes that Nandini hasn't uttered a single word out of her mouth after Manik had officially dropped the bomb on her that Dhruv is in love with her.

"..give her some time Manik.."Cabir repeated the same thing for the zillionth time which irked Manik beyond measures. "..aur kitna time do issey Cabir..every single second is passing like century..and you are suggesting ki that I should give her more time..tab tak toh mai definitely pagal ho jaunga.."

"Ho jaunga..matlab.."Cabir raised his eyebrows. "..pagal toh tu pahle se hi tha..ab kya kapre phaad ke Nandini Nandini chilaega kya.."

"Shut up Cabir.."Manik snapped at him. "Itne serious time par bhi you are enjoying yourself..kuch toh sharam kar.."

"Arey jab itna sara entertainment Mujhe free me mil raha toh kyu na enjoy karu.."Cabir's words made his eyes widened in disbelief "..entertainment.."he asked again "..yeh tujhe entertainment lagta hai.."

Gritting his teeth he spoke "..god Cabir you are such a sadist yaar.."

"Mai sadist hu.."this time Cabir snapped right back at him. "...aur tu kya hai.."he pointed toward Nandini who was still gaping at a distant direction lost in her own thoughts. "..dekh uski taraf.."

"..ek toh you drop itna bada nuclear bomb on her..on top of that instead of understanding her situation you are simply bombarding her with your ridiculous and inane questions..you know she is in a state of shock..but then too you are desperate to know her reaction..so tell me now Manik aren't you being ridiculous now.."

For the first time in his entire existence Cabir's words made Manik speechless.

"Bol ab.."Cabir pressed but Manik didn't knew what to say anymore.

"Ek kaam karte hai.."Cabir sighed "..I am going downstairs and will be waiting for you in the car..you talk to her alone...maybe then she feel comfortable enough to say anything..okay.."saying this Cabir walked away from there without giving Manik an opportunity to speak.

Once Cabir left Manik covered the distance between him and Nandini. Putting a hand over her shoulder he turned her around and whispered gently "Nandini..are you okay.."

"Should I be.."Nandini replied instantly much to his amusement as he realised Cabir was correct because Nandini wanted to talk to Manik alone.

"..then say something Nandini.."Manik requested to which Nandini replied. "Kya bolu mai.."

"Wahi jo tum soch rahi thi itni der se.."Manik encouraged her. "..I know you are shocked Nandini..but don't worry..we will find a way out."

This time Nandini got confused. "..what.."

"Yeah.."he held her shoulders and said "..I will handle everything Nandini.."

"Manik..have you seriously lost your mind.."Nandini said looking directly into his eyes "..and for once will you stop being so melodramatic.."

It was Manik's turn to get confused. "What do you mean.."

"Manik...first and foremost we aren't the leads of any superhit youth show jaha there will be a love triangle and loads of drama will happen.."

"..you and I both know ki you aren't that sati savitri hero types who would sacrifice everything for your friend.."

"..I mean...yes would go to any extent to protect Dhruv and his happiness if it was only about you too...you would have happily given up anything and everything for him..just like he would have done that.."

"..however this time a third person is also involved..who has equivalent right to make a choice..and that is me.."

"..and since you know what my choice is..and I know that you would never disrespect me or my choice..that automatically means you won't be playing all the sacrificing drama.."
