"So are you referring that you would actually listen to me.."Manik questioned as both of them finally controlled their laughter.

"Only if you ask nicely...and promise not to repeat these kind of barbaric acts..do you know how scared i was.."she scowled. "My heartbeat is racing at a different pace altogether."

"Are you sure it's only because of that.."Manik could see clearly on Nandini's face that she didn't understood what Manik meant to say so he finally chose to put an end to her misery "..because it's generally believed that the main reason behind girls racing heart is Manik Malhotra's Charm...are you sure it's not because of that."

Nandini simply rolled her eyes at his words "No Mr.Malhotra..I am 200% sure..that your barbaric act is the reason behind my racing heart so please stop having so much of misconceptions about yourself.."

"Misconceptions.."Manik smirked. "I don't think so Miss Murthy.."He shook his head this time "SPACE ki kisi bhi ladki se puch lena woh khud bata degi tumhe that I am speaking the truth."

"Whatever Manik.."she shrugged him off making him smile even more which in return annoyed her even more "..ab apni bateesi dikhana band karo and tell me why did you bring me here."

Manik's facial expressions changed instantly once again but this time it was shining with excitement. "Oh yes..I wanted to show you something.."

"What.."Nandini could feel Manik's excitement so she simply played along as she loved seeing him smile like this.

"Well in Mangalore you showed me your favourite hiding place...so I thought it's only fair if I show you my favourite place in the whole wide world.."He got up on his feet "...so come on.."saying this he extended his hands towards her which she gladly took.

Manik held her hand and took several steps away from the patio. They stopped right before the railing and pointed towards something in the front "..tadaa.."

Nandini's head followed his direction and the very next moment a huge smile broke on her face as well as her eyes fell on the beautiful scenario that was right in front of her.

The terrace of the guest house had the best view of the world--one can look at the entire city --which was twinkling like stars and it was spread like a sheet right in front of her.

The view was spectacular.

It looked so beautiful as if it was a scene scrape out of a fairy tales and brought into life for real.

"Wow..this is.."before Nandini could finish Manik completed her sentence. "..beautiful..isn't it."

Since she was totally lost in the beautiful scenario that was right in front of her eyes so she simply nodded her head in assent and whispered "yes.."which was more than enough for him to hear.

"Come on let's sit."Manik pulled her along. Nandini was about to question him as to where he was taking her but she didn't need to ask that question as the very next moment her eyes fell on the arrangements that was of course done by Manik.

Several mattresses were lined up on the ground one after the other and it was covered with couple of bed sheets. Two pillows were placed on top of it.

The way everything was arranged it was clear that Manik made that arrangements especially for her.

She looked at Manik with such amused expressions that it didn't take him
much time to understand what she was asking "Yes..whatever you are thinking is correct..You are the only person with whom I have shared my secret hide out.."

"But why.."Nandini questioned to which Manik answered "because you only said that we hardly know each other..we need time..and most importantly we need to understand each other..so this is me..following your instructions.."

"Since you have already shared your secret hideout with me in Mangalore..i thought it would be only fair to you if I show you my secret hide out place that nobody has any idea about..not even Fab5..."

Nandini was ecstatic at Manik's gesture.
"So you are saying that I am the first person ever with whom you have shared this place.."

"No.."Manik held her hands "..I am saying.."he looked straight into her eyes and said "..You are the last person with whom i am sharing this place..ever.."

Manik said those words with such intensity it literally gave Nandini butterflies in her stomach. Her cheeks turned red as Manik continued to gaze at her. So she looked away from him to divert his attention and said "Well I am honoured.."

"..and this.."she waved towards the arrangements "..is all so perfect.."

"Well so what are we waiting for.."saying this Manik extended his arms once again and requested "Shall we.."

Nandini smiled as she took his arms and replied "..of course we shall.."

They both knew that indeed it was not only the beginning of one of the most beautiful nights of their existence but will also mark the beginning of their new journey together.
