"Alia.."was all Nandini could whisper.

"Excuse Me.."Alia furrowed her eyebrows as she looked back at Nandini with inquisitive eyes. "..how do you know my name.."

Though Nandini was startled at first but fortunately her senses kicked back in time..

...so etching a smile on her face she replied "Are you seriously asking me this.."she shook her head making Alia confused "..this is SPACE where we both are standing..and you are asking me if I know your name..I mean..you are asking me whether I know "THE ALIA SAXENA" or not...the DIVA...the QUEEN OF SPACE..and one of the core member of FAB5...don't you think that's a little funny."

Her words finally made Alia smiled..

..and in return she genuinely sighed in relief..

...internally though..

...as she didn't let her real apprehension come on her face.

So she continued "Please don't mind me saying this..but what are you doing here..at this hours..because as far as I know rest of the members aren't here..right.."

"Yes..you are correct.."Alia replied while smiling at her "..actually they are waiting for me at Mukti's place..but..."Alia stopped abruptly and after looking at Nandini for a second she looked away.

But her actions were more than enough to freeze Nandini for a moment..

..as she realised why Alia was here when all her friends were waiting for her at Mukti's place..

...all of them...

...except..

..one.

MANIK.

Nandini was sure that Mukti would have told that Manik was out for the day..

...and he was expected to turn up here to report to Principal Sir's office and then he was supposed to reach Mukti's place.

But still she came here..

..because she wanted to meet him personally.

She wanted to meet Manik alone..

..as she didn't wanted an audience for their very first conversation since her return.

..and that's why she was here.

But unfortunately Manik wasn't here.

..however this thought didn't disturb Nandini as she was expecting it to be...

..rather she was feeling bad for Alia and her luck.

Once again Alia couldn't get what she wanted.

Honestly even Nandini knew that one day or the other Alia would return..

...but somewhere deep down she didn't knew how she exactly felt about it.

Of course she wanted Manik to be happy..

...and that was only possible if he could get Alia back in his life.

Though she knew Manik won't ever do anything to betray her but honestly she wasn't sure how she would exactly feel once Alia comes back into Manik's life.

Would she feel like a jealous girlfriend who would be insecure from Alia..

..or...

..would she be able to take it calmly and accept that Alia would always be Manik's best friend.

And finally today she got her answer.

...which fortunately was the latter one.

Yes..

..today Nandini was feeling liberated..

...because today she wasn't feeling guilty or jealous but..

..rather she truly wanted the dynamics between Alia and Manik to go back at normal...

..which in return meant that neither she was insecure nor she doubted Manik or his intentions for a second.

In fact today she realised that the real reason for her feeling like that..

..she trusted Manik more than she trusted herself...

...and honestly the thought made her smile for unknown reasons.

Since she was happy she wanted Alia to taste this happinesses as well..

...so she chose to do something which Nandini wouldn't have done in ordinary situations.

"Manik is not here Alia..."

Alia's head snapped up as she gaped at Nandini with open eyes.

Since Nandini was expecting this she continued.

"..he went to Mukti's place to meet you.."

"How do you know.."was all Alia could uttered to which Nandini replied "..anyone with little bit of brain could join the dots Alia.."

"..is it that obvious.."Alia was surprised at herself that how calmly was she discussing something so private with a complete stranger.

"..it's not obvious Alia.."Nandini smiled "..it's practical.."

Looking at her Nandini questioned "you are scared to face him aren't you.."

Once again Alia looked back at Nandini but this time her expression wasn't ferocious rather it was an expression of acceptance—that she needed help.

"..you don't want things to turn awkward more than they already are aren't you.."

"..that's why you came here while your friends are waiting for you at Mukti's place.."

"..because you wanted to meet with him alone and sort things out..without an audience.."

"..am I right.."

Alia sighed and simply nodded "..but i guess things can never happened exactly like I wanted them to be..ever.."

"Yes..they can't.."Nandini replied seriously. "..you want to know why.."

When Alia nodded her head once again Nandini replied "..because indeed God had better plans for you..as he wants you to have the best of everything..sometimes what we thing is the best for us turns out to be the not that great because of which we end up loosing hope..but we tend to forget that maybe god took the good thing away only to give you back the thing which is best for you.."

"..so don't give up and don't loose faith..who knows the best might be on the other lane waiting for you.."

Alia smiled again but this time it was genuine. "Wow..you are quite the philosopher.."

"I am just someone who believes in HOPE.."Nandini shrugged.

"Well do you really think your HOPE theory works.."Alia smirked.

"I don't think so.."Nandini smirked right back "..I know so.."she winked back at Alia.

And the next moment they both burst out laughing.

Sometimes people find each other with broken foundations and they  together as a team built a foundation that is indestructible.
