"Guys will you stop being so melodramatic.."Manik rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I will be there in 30 minutes..so relax.."

"You are asking us to relax..seriously.."Mukti yelled from the other end of the call. "Did you forgot what Nyonika said the other day."

"Mukti..don't you know me at all.."Manik snorted. "Since when did I started doing things as per Nyonika's instruction.."

"We know you don't.."Dhruv spoke "..but buddy this isn't about Nyonika..this is about SPACE..and its reputation.."

"Buddy..how will my not being there will affect the reputation of SPACE..and as it is I visited  Dad in Pune for his work only ..so relax..Nyonika won't say anything to me..and since she knows how dangerous can I be that's why she won't even trouble you all as well.."Manik answered.

"Manik we can handle Nyonika..but we can't handle the fact that you are not here when something correct and fair is about to happen in the history of SPACE...knowing Nyonika she would take the entire credit for your idea.."Cabir couldn't finish when Manik cut in "..Arey so let her take the credit na..what else can we expect from her..it's nothing new na..so just relax..and calm down.."

"Can't believe you are saying all this...Manik since when you became MAHATAMA.."though he couldn't see Mukti's face but he knew that how stunned Mukti was and the mere thought of her shocked face made him smile. "Mukti shut up..I haven't become MAHATAMA or anything..bas I have stopped becoming predictable."

His words caught their attention. "What.."they all said unanimously. "What do you mean.."Cabir questioned.

"Guys..let's just say that I have even better plans for Nyonika.."he smirked. "Let her enjoy as much as she can for now..because soon she will loose all the reasons to smile.."

"Now that's like our DEVIL MALHOTRA."Mukti chirped excitedly. "Yaar main toh dar gai thi..ki pata nahi Kya ho gaya hai tujhe..but now I am relieved.."

Manik smiled. "Chal ab apni nautanki band kar and wait for me I will be there soon.."

"Waise tu hai kaha iss waqt.."Dhruv asked to which Manik replied..

"BANGALORE-MUMBAI HIGHWAY"

"Fine..jaldi aa..we are waiting.."Cabir ordered.

"Yup..I will be there soon.."Manik answered.
"..till then you all hold on to the fort..Bye.."saying this he disconnected the call but not before hearing "Bye..and come soon"from the other side.

Manik kept the phone on the passenger seat and concentrated on the road.

He was about to take a turn when out of nowhere few cars passed by his car so quickly that he completely lost balance of the car for few moments.However he managed to get control of the car but unfortunately he couldn't stopped his car from being dashed into a bus that was passing by.

Two more cars came to a screeching halt because of the same reason and so did the bus.
But fortunately no body got injured or hurt.

There was a pin drop silence for one second but the very next moment the environment turned chaotic.

As everyone started to scream..talk..yell..cry almost at the same time.

Manik's heart was beating too fast. His breathing became erratic. He covered his face in his hand and leaned in so as to get a grip over his erratic heartbeat.

"Thank God.."Manik shook his head as he finally managed to control himself. Unbuckling his seat belt he picked his phone from the passenger seat and unlocking the door got out of the car.
