Chapter Five: The Fight

They were here and the fight was starting, I released my arrow and starting firing rapidly. Michelle was doing the same with her rifle and, we seem to be doing okay but more and more came, every time one of the soulless let out there screaming. Twenty, eighteen, fifteen, slowly I was running out of arrows and there faces were getting closer and closer every time, I was able to start identifying there eye colors blue, brown, hazel, brown, green. Ten arrows left, I was running increasingly low and there was no way we 're winning this fight.
"Michelle! We need to run away, or else we're leaving here dead!"
"Lee, don't you think I know this, I would have told us to run away sooner but, there are no openings!"
I look back to start concentrating on the fight when one of the soulless jump on top of me and bit my sleeve.
"Michelle! I need help!"
Michelle turns around and shot the soulless on top of me ( green eyes) then one jumped on her, I had to save her.
"Lee!!! I need you now!"
I shot an arrow at the soulless attacking her (blue eyes).
"Michelle are you okay?!"
"Yeah, it just bit my pant leg."
"Alright, were both going to start shooting in one area then run out okay?"
"Alright Lee, I trust you."
"Now!!!!!!"
So we started and made ourselves a path and ran down the streets with soulless hot on our trail.
"Lee, let's go to CVS, we can hide out in there."
I nodded my head, yes and we ran inside and hid behind the cashier desk.
After a while when I heard the footsteps leave I started to whisper into Michelle's ear "Michelle while we are here let's stockpile on some medicine alright."
"Okay but let's be quiet, I do not want another fight."
So we started scanning all the shelves grabbing any medicine we could fit into our bags. Then on one of the mirrors at the too we saw a figure hunched back, I pointed him out silently to Michelle she nodded and we both started on opposite side of the aisle. I began to place an arrow in my bow and Michelle was aiming her sights at it. We both had our shot, then I released my arrow prematurely and the soulless saw and grabbed it in his hand.
"Guys what the hell are you doing, it's me, Dominic."
But as he was saying this Michelle shot him in the thigh. To stop him from yelling I placed my hand over his mouth and shushed him.
"Michelle get some alcohol and bandages."
She nodded yes and ran off to the store.
"Dom your alive, we 're coming to find you."
"Really I thought you were going to kick me out or was it all Michelle's plan."
" No it was my plan I decided to execute it and if it's anyone's fault it's mine own. I'm sorry Dom."
" It's okay but I don't think I can walk with a hole in my leg."
" Yeah, that might be an issue, that we will deal with later."
Michelle came back with one bottle of whiskey, one bandage, and some more gas mask. " Look what I scored, now we all can adventure out next time and go find some help."
"Good job Michelle, alright Dom bit down on your shirt this is going to hurt."
I pour the drink down his leg and he starts wincing in pain, "Alright hard parts over now Time for the bandage not to tight to cut blood flow but, tight enough so it doesn't shift around. Okay, Michelle let's start walking, we are both going to carry Dom back Alright?"
"Okay let's get a move on the night is coming, and I can barely see through this mask."
"Oh wait to give Dom his mask before we go, almost forgot."
"Oh yeah, okay we're already let's go."
"Guys thanks for coming back to me I appreciate it."
"No problem dude where your friends and we are here for you."
"Lee, what were you going to say back there before."
"Oh, that (Lee's face start blushing bright red but no one can see it through the gas mask) it was nothing."
"Oh, alright let's turn here we're almost back home."
Then out of the shadows came a soulless a young girl probably nine.l, jumped on top of me and started ripping at my gas mask.
"Michelle doesn't kill her just kick her off, we can't risk the death siren right now."
Michelle starting kicking the young soulless and each kick was also a kick to my face when she finally kicked the conscious out of her and knocked me silly.
"Ah, MMMichelle I think o need to sit down a bit."
"No Lee get up right now we're literally two house down I need your help."
"Okay funny, the funny lady let's go, yeah hahaha let's go."
"Oh sweet Lord Lee has a concussion let's go guys."
"Funny lady, oh look magic door, let's go in it yeah, I'm gonna go in it."
"No Lee wrong house get back here!"
"Funny lady stop yelling at me, I'm gonna cry."
" Oh sweet Lord come on Lee let's go in this door."
"Oh okay."
The door swung open and we saw Grace waiting for us and, she grab Dominic and was talking to Michelle when I fell straight on my face and was knocked out.
