Chapter Thirteen: The Ring

I walked through the door and was blinded by a bright light. When eyes finally adjusted i heard a roar of a crowd and saw myself in a ring.
"What the hell I'm not going to fight other survivors!"
Serenity's voice roared over the crowd "Not survivors, no we won't do that, you're going to fight these monsters."
I was confused what did she meant by monsters dogs, wolfs, bears?
Then another door crossed from me opened up and one soulless popped out.
"Oh, you call soulless monsters."
I drew my bow and shot a single arrow at the beast.(twenty-nine). I started to feel a little cocky and yelled: "Serenity is that all you got!"
"Oh no Lee we are just getting started"
She waved her hand in the air and another door opened this time five soulless. So I started to walk backward and shot the soulless. Then i was greeted by the pain in my side and missed the soulless. They, all started running at meat and manage to get on top of me.
"Now this is a fight will our fighter live until the next round. I grabbed an arrow and started stabbing soulless in the heads. A few of the bit me and one scratched my side which was bleeding again. I stepped up to my feet and started yelling "COME ON GIVE ME A CHALLENGE!"
Secretly I'm wishing that ten soulless don't pop out of a door.
"Woe Lee most people die during that round. You're only half dead so, folks for the first time ever here is round three!"
"Can I take a break before the next round I'm exhausted."
"Well let me think for a moment and I'm thinking NO!"
Shit that means more fighting, I really don't think I can keep fighting. No time for second guessing myself, another door has just opened. This time there were seven soulless i started taking them all and now there was only one left. Before I drew my vow again the pain in my side came back and I dropped the bow. The beast jumped on top of me and all my arrows spilled out. I started punching the soulless and it grabbed my fist and started biting it.
"Get the hell off of me!"
"Will our fighter survive not will he die in the ring!"
The crowd starting yelling again, and I grabbed an arrow off the floor and jabbed it into the monsters eye.
"I need a break! Please if you want me to keep fighting give me a break!"
"Alright will give you a break round four is tomorrow!"
The crowd started screaming again and Serenity was absorbed by all this. I take this chance and rip off the metal tips from the arrow and shoved it in my pocket. One of the henchmen came through the door and punched me in the head.

I woke up in the room and immediately checked my pockets, I still had the arrow tips. I pull them out of pocket and hand them to my friends. I gesture them to break their shackles with them. They did what I said and in a few minutes, everyone was free. We walked to the door and kicked it open, and then started running down the halls. We took a turn and ran into two guards.
"DOMINIC! MICHELLE! take those two out!"
They both ran forward and shoved the arrow tip in the guard's throat. We kept running down the halls then we saw Serenity standing in the doorway, blocking our escape.
"Wow congratulation on escaping you did well I sincerely mean it."
Michelle walked forward: " Serenity come on we don't have to fight. Just let us leave and we promise to stay out of your way."
"No, either your friend fights for us or I kill you all."
I was starting to get pissed " I am not so monkey who does whatever you say! I'm done the fighting and I'm leaving!"
I started to walk forward towards Serenity with the arrow tip in my hand.
"Lee step back now!"
I was only inches away from her now, I could feel her breathe on my chest.
"Hey, Serenity you know what I will fight in your arena."
"Finally now back up."
I started to turn around when I, clenched my fist and hit her as hard as I can in the head.
"Come on guys lets RUN!!"
We started out the door and saw that we were no longer anywhere in Wildwood.
Dominic ask "Um, where are we guys? This is not Wildwood."
I went to look at an abandoned sign.
"Lee where are we?"
"Were in-"
