Chapter Eighteen: The Fight

I and Michelle started running down the terminal.
"What the hell was that Lee?"
"I don't know but it sounded human. So let's see who is hurt."
As we ran down the halls Michelle started hacking. I saw blood shoot from her mouth onto the floor.
"Michelle cover your mouth with your shirt."
She did as I said and we kept running. Then we abruptly stop and Michelle pointed someone out to me.
"What the hell is she doing?"
I was momentarily paralyzed when I recognized who she was.
"Michelle, its Serenity. How is she still here!"
I said the last part a little too loudly and she turned around.
"Oh, Is that you Lee? What are the chances?"
Michelle was furious and yelled, "How the hell are you still alive!"
Serenity spoke calmly: "Well because of that fact you guys suck at killing people."
I noticed she was holding chains in her hands.
"Michelle we need to leave right now!"
"Hell no, I'm killing her for sure this time."
Serenity dropped the chains and we heard tons of footsteps.
"RUN!"
We started running back the way we came but the soulless were just too fast.
"Hey, where is the rest of you guys? Wasn't their four of you?"
Michelle yelled: "Shut the Hell up! I'm going for the kill, protect me."
Michelle stopped and started to draw her bow. I started taking out Soulless. There seem to be hundreds of them I couldn't see where the wave of them ended.
"Take the fucking shot already I can't keep doing this!"
"Wait, I need to make sure she dies this time alright!"
The Soulless grab my leg and started dragging me deeper into their horde.
" No way in hell I'm dying here!"
I grabbed an arrow and started stabbing Soulless in the head. I started to back up to Michelle when she released her arrow. Everything stood still as the arrow flew through the air. The arrow connected to Serenity's head and she dropped to the ground.
"Yeah take that! Wanna see you come back to kill us know!"
"Alright great shot, time for us to run before she technically still killed us."
We ran out of the terminal and slammed the door shut.
"Michelle I'll hold the door shut find something to block it with."
Michelle ran off to go find something.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Calm down Lee don't panic.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Breathe come on breathe. I looked ahead of me and saw Daniels body lying there, with Soulless on top of him.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
I started to curl up into a ball. I started to fell the door open a bit.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Soulless hands were starting to stick out. So I slammed the door on them and the arms fell down.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
I pushed my back against the door and started crying.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
"Um, Lee guess who I found."
"It better fucking not be Serenity or I'm done."
I saw Michelle come around the corner held at gunpoint from both Nini and Lauren.
"Lee, nice job leaving us all alone now we're going to kill you."
"Hey, Michelle GO!"
She elbowed both Nini and Lauren and I ran to her, releasing all the Soulless. Nini and Lauren started shooting the soulless attracting their attention.
"Will get you and will kill you, Lee and Michelle!"
Michelle smiled and said: " That's only if you live."
"I had a great time with you guys. We should never do this again."
We started running the way we came laughing. I can't believe we did that and lived.
"The look on their faces I will never forget it."
For the first time, I and Michelle were genuinely happy.
"We have to find somewhere to hide out for tonight."
"Yeah sleeping outside isn't the best idea."
We found the building that Nini and Lauren controlled.
"How did those to girls manage to control this area?"
"I don't know Lee, I'm just happy their dead."
"You never know, maybe they manage to fight the Soulless off."
"I would die if that happens. I may actually die."
"Yeah, they would not be too happy."
We both almost open the door when we heard shuffling of feet.
"Wheres Nini and Lauren they said they meet us here."
The voice was hoarse and scratchy. I looked at Michelle and we both slowly walked away, when I suddenly got a tickle in my throat like I was going to cough. Michelle looked worried and I waved my hand at her to run. She went and hid in a store and I let out the loudest cough. The doors swung open and my blood got all over one of the guys.
"What the hell, knock him out and bring him inside."
Right before the guy hit me, Someone yelled: "HEY!"
