Chapter Sixteen: Tied Up

I woke up with a throbbing pain on the left side of my head. I went to rub it but, my hands were restrained. I turned my head and saw Michelle tied up as well. She looked at me incredibly angry and yelled: "If I get hit in the fucking head again I'm am done!"
"Calm down Michelle. It's not that bad. Do you know where are our captors are?"
"No, but I just want to say that I told you so. We should have never gone into this building."
"Yeah, your always right. Come on any luck getting your ropes lose?"
" No these are way too tight, where in the hell are those girls!"
The voice returned from a back room, and the dark brown curly hair girl came back out: "Shut up, They literally just left."
The taller blonde girl came into view and said: "They have left the building." her eyes caught mine and in a cheery tone, she said, " Hi my name is Lauren and the grouch in the corner is Nini."
Michelle recognized this was the girl that hit her on the head. "Hey, can you come a little closer I want to whisper something to you."
The girl not fully knowing how angry Michelle can be can closer.
"What's the secret, is it interesting."
Lauren's face was only inches from Michelle when she drew her head back and headbutted the crap out of Lauren. Her nose was now gushing blood and Lauren was crying.
"That's for hitting me in the head with a frying pan."
Nini started laughing so hard she fell to her side "Ha she head-butted the shit out of you."
"Michelle, calm down they could kill us."
"I honestly don't care anymore Lee."
As she was saying this her eyes darted downwards really quick. I looked down to see Michelle
Was free of her restraints and was now working on my restraints.
"So Nini it was, what ate you going to do with us?"
She got off the floor, still laughing and said: "Oh we are going to kill you if you don't tell us what we want to hear."
"Okay, I will agree to this if only we can ask a question too. You ask one we ask one, deal."
"You know you're the ones that are tied up. What the hell but if I don't want to answer I don't have too."
"Alright ask your first question."
"Okay let me see... Are you part of a group and if so are they looking for you."
I started to tear up thinking about all my friends I have lost: "Yeah I and Michelle are part of a group of six but," I started to bawl and couldn't talk anymore.
Michelle came out and said: "Its tuff for him because well, everyone in our group died because of us."
"WAIT! You killed your team, wow Coldblooded."
I looked at Michelle and we made eye contact with each other and knew we had to do something."Alright, its mine turn to ask a question. Do you know a person named Serenity?"
Michelle knew I was going to have to distract Nini for us to take them out.
Nini looked puzzled and took a while to answer us but, when she did finally start to talk her voice was weak: "Yes I know Serenity she kidnapped me and my group and most of them died in her ring."
"I survived three rounds of that garbage before me and my friends escaped."
"Wait, you guys escaped did you kill Serenity?"
Michelle spoke up "She better be dead because I am done with her."
"Yeah, I think I hit her hard enough to kill her."
"Alright I need to know can you let us go and we will survive on our own," I said this with fear in my voice because of fact they still had the guns.
"Only on one condition."
I don't know where she is going with this but it doesn't sound good.
"What's your condition."
"I and Lauren come with you and we kill this rival group."
"Wait how.many groups are in this place?"
"Dude your in New York there is at least ten groups in this area."
"Alright first I have to talk to my teammate."
I and Michelle stood up and walked to the corner of the room. Nini had a shocked expression on her face, probably due to the fact we untied ourselves.
"Lee they are the best option right now. They must have supplies and they have guns."
"Yeah but a gun is a lot quicker than an arrow what if they backstab us. I mean all they need us is to take out their enemy after that they could."
I slid my thumb crossed my throat.
"Lee and they could kill us if we don't agree. Plus you already proved you can be a bullet."
"Alright, Michelle let's do it."
Michelle made a fierce eye contact with Nini and said: "We agree, let's do this."
"Nice let's go there a mile and a half northwest."
"Just one condition on my part. Don't ever hit me in the fucking head again."
Nini nodded and then left the room to get Lauren. So now we survivors fight each other for territory, just like animals do. I guess humanity has lost the part that made us human now.
