You yawned, and stretched your limbs as the final bell rang, signalling the end of school. Your best friend BF/N turned to you.

"Hey, Y/N. Are you busy after school?" She questioned. You turned to her, and nodded.

"Yeah, sorry. But I'm going to Robbie's workshop after school." You told. BF/N sighed, and grinned at you.

"Really? That old shack again? Now that I think about it, you've been spending an awful lot of your time there." You sweat dropped.

"Well, I've always spent my time there. Ever since I was little." You stated. BF/N gave you a suspicious look, and shrugged.

"Oh well. Hey, we should hang out sometime. You should sleep over my house this weekend!" BF/N exclaimed. You nodded.

"Yeah! Well, I've gotta get going. See you tomorrow!" You grabbed your bag, and ran out of the classroom. Your best friend raised her eyebrow, and shrugged. You ran out of the school gates, and ran towards Robbie's workshop. Once you saw the work shop in the distance, you smiled and ran faster towards it.

Astro and Robbie were discussing what technology was like 100 years later when you burst through the door. They both turned towards you, and smiled.

"Ah, Y/N! How was school?" Robbie questioned. Your smile brightened.

"Oh, it was like usual. What are you guys up to?" You questioned as you skipped over to them. Astro looked at you and Robbie.

"We were just talking about the development of technology a hundred years from now." Astro told. You nodded, and sat down on a nearby stool.

"I wanna hear too!" You exclaimed. Astro nodded, and turned back to Robbie.

"Okay, as I was saying, our technology has developed to the point where we can create robots with feelings. I'm an example. You see, I was built with a power source called kokoro. It allows me to think and feel like a human." Astro explained. Robbie nodded.

"I see. So, does that even give you the ability to love?" Robbie questioned. Astro nodded.

"Yes." You cocked your head to the side.

"Have you ever been in love?" You questioned. Astro turned towards you, and blushed slightly. He then slightly nodded.

"U-um, yes. I-I've been in love before." Astro admitted. Robbie narrowed his eyes at the robot, and grinned. He then nudged Astro.

"So, did you get her?" Robbie asked slyly. You frowned. Astro sighed, and shook his head.

"No, I didn't. In fact, I ended up helping my rival win her heart." Astro admitted. Robbie frowned.

"Boy, you are just too kind." Robbie muttered. Astro looked down in shame. An awkward feeling rose in your chest, and you fidgeted. You then glanced up at Astro. Robbie noticed your fidgeting, and raised his eyebrow. "What's wrong kiddo, do you need to use the restroom? If you leave it for too long, it'll ruin your complexion." Your face flushed red, and a tick mark appeared on your head. You then stood up, and punched the old man in the face. Astro stared at you with wide eyes.

"YOU STUPID OLD MAN!" You cried as you ran out of the shed. Robbie groaned as Astro helped him up.

"Are you okay?" Astro questioned. Robbie nodded.

"Yeah, this usually happens. I say something stupid, and she smashes me into next week before running off. Sigh, let me give you some advice sonny, don't upset women. You don't want to get on their bad side." Robbie warned. Astro nodded, and sighed. 'Never in my life had I encountered a woman that would physically hurt an old man.' Astro thought. He then turned towards the open doors of the shed that lead to the outside world.
