You sat in Robbie's workshop surrounded by papers. Robbie stood in front of you with a stern look on his face.
"Now listen kiddo, inventing something can be done by anyone. But inventing something that's life changing, you need to have wits! You can't create something if you doubt yourself." You nodded. Robbie then pointed to the papers in front of you. "You see those papers? Disregard them, they're useless right now. All that matters right now is you, and your theories." You nodded and pushed the piles of papers off the desk. Robbie grinned, and pointed to the whiteboard. "Okay kiddo, let's get started on your lesson." You beamed, and nodded.
"Yes, professor!" You exclaimed.
Astro watched as Dr Oshay readied the machine. He then turned to Astro.
"Are you ready?" Dr Oshay questioned. Astro nodded.
"Yeah, I'm ready. Dr Oshay nodded, and switched on the machine.
"Remember, you have two hours. Don't dawdle." Astro nodded. He then turned towards the newly opened portal.
"Here I come, Y/N." Astro then flew through the portal.
You sneezed. Robbie glanced at you.
"Hope you're not catching a cold kiddo." You grinned.
"Nah, somebody must be talking about me." Robbie nodded. He then looked around and frowned.
"Hmm, that's odd." You glanced up at him.
"What's wrong?" Robbie shook his head.
"Oh, nothing major, but I seem to be missing a few things. Y/N, could you do me a favour and go to the hardware store to purchase a few things for me?" You nodded.
"Sure, what do you need?" Robbie hummed in thought.
"Well, I'll need some long edged screws, some nuts and bolts, and some large powered batteries." You nodded, and hopped off the stool.
"Got it! I'll go right now." Robbie nodded, and handed you some money.
"Stay safe out there kiddo." You smiled and nodded. You then left the old shed, and made your way into town.
Astro appeared on the other side of the portal into the park. He then looked around. Almost everything had been repaired from the attack. He smiled. Thank god. A look of seriousness then appeared on Astro's face. He had to find you, no matter the cost. Astro hurriedly rushed towards Robbie's workshop. When he got there, he pulled the doors open. Robbie turned towards him with a smile.
"Ah, done already I se-" Robbie froze when he saw Astro. He then frowned. "What are you doing here? Why have you come back?" Robbie questioned. Astro gulped.
"I-I need to talk to Y/N." Robbie sighed, and shook his head.
"Sonny, I don't think that's-"
"This is urgent!" Astro cried, interrupting the old man. Robbie raised his eyebrow.
"What's urgent? Has something happened?" Astro nodded.
"Yeah, I just came back from the future after hearing some very important information. Y/N's life is in danger. She'll disappear on the twenty third of May five years from now. I've come back to warn her and to save her life. I need to warn her, but I only have two hours to do so before I have to return to the future." Astro explained. Robbie frowned.
"Hmm, this sounds serious. I'm sorry sonny, but I just sent her out to the hardware store to go pick up some things." Astro nodded.
"The hardware store? Got it!" Astro was then about to leave, but Robbie stopped him.
