You sat at your desk in your office and stretched your stiff limbs. You then sighed and yawned. It was two o'clock in the morning and you desperately needed sleep. You stood up and grabbed your bag. You then walked out of the office and nodded to the security guard. You don't know why, but everyone insisted that you have a security guard by your side since you were one of the world's top scientists. They even had some guard stay outside of your house, but you wouldn't dare let them in. There was only one person who you could rely on, and he wasn't here. You walked outside the current ministry of science and made your way towards your car. You then fiddled with the keys and unlocked the door. You climbed inside and started the car. You then drove towards your home. You had bought your own house at the age of sixteen. You still visited your parents from time to time, but they were always so busy. You pulled up to your driveway, and exited the vehicle. You then unlocked your front door, and walked inside. You made your way to your bedroom, not bothering to shower because you were that tired and collapsed onto your bed. Today was just like any other day. You worked on projects, filling out forms and files, and attended a few meetings. You could never really get a break, but you didn't mind it. After all, you were a scientist and it's as Robbie said; A scientist never gives up! You smiled at the thought of your old teacher, and fell asleep. That day was coming soon, where you would see HIM again.

The next morning, you were rudely interrupted from your blissful state when you heard honking outside your house. You groaned and covered your head with your pillow. You then heard keys jangling and heard your door open. You then heard your bedroom door open and turned to see a young man frowning. He looked slightly older than you with short brown hair and emerald green eyes. He wore a lab coat and held an important looking briefcase. You sighed, and sat up.

"What do you want so early in the morning?" You questioned as you groggily sat up. The man sighed.

"Y/N, you should have been in the ministry of science by now. We have a meeting with the other top scientists at ten, remember? It's already nine thirty!" You groggily stared at the man in front of you. Your eyes then widened.

"What!?" You then had a quick look at the Calender. It was May twentieth. Three more days. You gasped, and hurriedly got out of bed. "Why didn't you come to get me sooner, Dave!" Dave shook his head as he watched you hurry around. He then turned around when you took off your jacket and got undressed.

"I'll wait for you outside. Be ready in five minutes!" Dave told as he walked outside the house. You frowned and fell over while trying to put on your shoes. You groaned, and sat up. You then ran down to the kitchen and snatched your bag from the counter and ran outside. You jumped into Dave's car and you both drove off towards the ministry of science. You were supposed to talk about a new project with scientists all over the world about global warming. Secretly, you knew that this was the day that you revealed your new invention. Well, the existence of it anyway. Dave glanced at you as you were deep in thought, and blushed slightly. His eyes then snapped back to the road. You glanced at him and raised your eyebrow. You then smiled when you both had finally arrived at the ministry of science. You jumped out of the car, and waved to your friend.

"See ya later Dave!" You waved as you ran inside. The receptionist saw you coming, and smiled.

"The conservatorium stage." You smiled, and nodded.

"Thank you." You then ran inside the elevator and waited for it to reach the desired destination. When the elevator arrived, you ran out of the elevator and into the meeting room. "Sorry I'm late!" You apologized as you rushed to your seat. One of the elderly scientists huffed.

"Kids these days. Just because you're one of the world's greatest scientists doesn't mean that you can just skip out on meetings." You frowned.

"I didn't skip. I was working late last night and happened to oversleep, Dr Baker." Dr Baker huffed. You then heard a cough, and smiled when you saw your old teacher Robbie standing in front of everyone. He had become the head of the ministry of science after you graduated from university, which was at a young age. Robbie gripped his cane as he walked onto the stage. He then tapped the microphone to test it, and glanced at everyone.
